Root up with the Skulls!

Strategic Summary:
Welcome to today’s Creative Deck Profile, this time centered on using various Gemini support cards to create recursive loops leading to victory! First, if you haven’t seen the Gemini monsters before, they are all treated Normal Monsters until you spend a Normal Summon while they’re already on the field to grant them their effects. Let’s start with the cream of the crop, that would be Gigaplant! This Level 6 Plant gains the ability to summon any other Plant or Insect from your hand or GY once per turn, even another copy of itself. Combine this with Superalloy Beast Raptinus which immediately enables all Gemini effects while face-up, and you are able to cycle Gigaplant to Gigaplant nigh endlessly. The trick of making use of this combo is ensuring you have a way to get to that board of Gigaplant and Superalloy, and that’s where Plants and Link monsters are involved! Evil Thorn and Predaplant Ophrys Scropio both give you two Plants for your investment, and the Predaplant option also gives you an Instant Fusion through Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra. As you’ll see in the video, there’s plenty of combo support cards, but my personal favorite to highlight is tutoring Supervise through Vylon Cube, to give you a Gigaplant activation before you even have your combo setup!
Now that you get the base, let me highlight the win condition. Ultimately, the goal is to Xyz Summon Number 6: Chromomaly Atlandis twice, using its effect to halve your opponent’s LP twice to 2000 (or 2250 if you activate Upstart Goblin), then wipe out the rest of their LP with the effect of The Blazing Mars! Since The Blazing Mars can Special Summon itself from the GY quite easily, you also will need to employ Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal, another Rank 6 Xyz Monster that can send Mars directly to the GY. All this is well and good, but if the FTK options falls short, I built this deck to have a few alternatives. The first is to utilize the powerful Gemini Support to try and grind out a win – Gemini Ablation is great at getting you a monster per turn, and if you summon out Evocator Eveque or Geminize Lord Golknight, you even get more advantage off of it. The second option is to utilize the Summoned Skull support… admittedly this is for more fun than actual practicality, but I really love that this FTK deck can also just choose to summon out Archfiend’s Awakening, Archfiend’s Ascent, or Archfiend’s Call, just for the hell of it. They are daemons after all! Hopefully you enjoyed this homebrewed combination of FTK, Gemini monsters, and the iconic Summoned Skull!
