Link up your game with the new Cyberse Support!

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, this time storming onto the scene with the Firewall archetype! Led by the OG Firewall Dragon, the Firewall theme had seen a number of cards over the years that supported powerful Link monsters, but it wasn’t until the new Firewall Defenser (YGOrg Translation) that it became an archetype. Whenever Defenser is used as Link Material for a Cyberse monster, it summons another Firewall monster from your deck, such as Firewall Guardian. This enables a chain of Link Summons from just one monster, as when Guardian is used as Link Material, it summons itself back from the GY. With the help of Splash Mage, Cyberse Witch, and Transcode Talker, this just helps you Link up even more, even if you had no other cards available. But when combined with other Cyberse support, like a larger Salamangreat suite, you can quickly rack up a board of powerful Link monsters including the new Firewall Dragon Singularity (YGOrg Translation). The Salamangreat engine in particular works well as scaffolding to higher Link monsters, from Salamangreat Balelynx all the way up through Salamangreat Gazelle and Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf.
Now I know what you may be thinking – this is nothing new for Code Talker decks. And you’re right on that account, that Link Summoning a ton is not new for the Cyberse type. But the other new cards in CYAC help to diversify your play patterns, such as deviating through a Ritual Summon of the new Cyberse Sage (YGOrg Translation), which then allows you to Fusion Summon Cyberse Disabwurm (YGOrg Translation), which gives you yet another path to higher Link monsters (in addition to another disruption during the opponent’s following turn). When needed, you can also turn to Cynet Rollback (YGOrg Translation), a Quick-Play Spell that lets you Special Summon a banished Cyberse monster, or once you are on your last bit of LP, recover multiple banished Cyberse monsters back to the hand. As far as the Traps go, Cynet Conflict remains as effective as ever, especially when you add Salamangreat Roar and Salamangreat Rage to the mix. Venture into a new flavor of cyberspace with the new Firewall support!
