Fiends, Beasts, Illusions, OH MY!?

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another CDP, and this time we’re tackling the new wave of Fiendsmith cards alongside a few other Fusion Themes. Let’s start with the Fiendsmith, this LIGHT Fiend archetype is best known for Fiendsmith Engraver, a Level 6 LIGHT Fiend that can discard itself to tutor any Fiendsmith S/T or return another LIGHT Fiend back into the Deck to Special Summon itself. The Fiendsmith engine has been no less than ubiquitous in the current meta, being splashed into just about everything to boost the power of the deck. However, in ROTA, they’re about to receive a second Main Deck monster – Lacrima the Scarlet Shadow (YGOrg Translation). When Summoned, Lacrima sends a Fiendsmith card from the Deck to the GY, and when she is in the GY during the opponent’s turn, she can return herself back into the Deck to Special Summon a Fiendsmith Link from your GY. This is primarily meant to combo with the new Fiendsmith LINK-3, Fiendsmith’s Agnusdei (YGOrg Translation), which carries a Quick Effect to Special Summon a non-Link LIGHT Fiend from your GY, then equip itself to that monster. In particular, this combo works great with Fiendsmith’s Desirae, as he carries a Quick Effect to negate the effects up 3 face-up cards on the field when equipped with Agnusdei.
Now the Fiendsmith engine is great, but the optimal on-ramp is to use any LIGHT Fiend to Link Summon Fiendsmith’s Requiem. While you may be familiar with Fabled Lurrie due to its existence as a LIGHT Fiend and innate synergy with Fiendsmith’s Tract or Moon of the Closed Heaven made with any 2 effect monsters, you might not be aware of the Evil HERO engine which also works well. You see, Evil HERO Adusted Gold is a LIGHT Fiend as well, and it can be brought straight out of the deck with the help of Evil HERO Sinister Necrom. This Level 5 Fiend has largely flown under the radar, but it works quite well when you have something like the Illusion Chimera theme that happens to have an effect to send any Fiend from the deck to the GY!
That brings us to the main stars of this deck, the Illusion Chimera archetype. With Chimera Fusion, they can Fusion Summon any monster using at least 1 Beast or Fiend, letting you bring out Berformet the Mythical King of Phantom Beasts, Chimera the King of Phantom Beasts, or even a Guardian Chimera if you’re feeling spicy. But since this theme generically works with such wide types, you can also run in monster floodgates like the Fiend-Type Barrier Statue of the Abyss or the Illusion-Type Diabellze the Original Sinkeeper. They also work well with the Frightfur engine, featuring Edge Imp Chain, Polymerization, and Frightfur Patchwork to generate free card advantage for you. If all that isn’t enough, the last engine at play today centers around Silhouhatte Rabbit, a LINK-2 that sets a Continuous Trap Monster to your field. In here, I’m running both Silhouhatte Trick as well as Angel Statue – Azurune for great effect. And if you’re worried about ending on your Rabbit, have no fear, because Eye of Illusion is a great tool to disrupt an unsuspecting opponent when you are running this many Illusion monsters!

Can we start getting an image of the decks included in the article?
Maybe a decklist file too?
Hi there. You can find an image of the decklist at the end of every video. I type out the decklist just for reference here.
As far as a decklist file, that’s something I’ve been exploring but haven’t found a solution or optimal path forward yet.
If you do your deck building in edopro or duelingbook they both have export options for ydke files
It’s funny as new Evil Hero support got released today too
