Get your FIRE archetypes into Formation.

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back to another CDP, this time featuring a heavy combo build centered around the Fire Fist archetype. This Brotherhood consists of Level 3 and Level 4 FIRE Beast Warrior monsters, that have the capability to Synchro, Xyz, and Link Summon with ease. Over time, they even received their own Fusion and Ritual Monsters as well, but they’re sitting on the sidelines today to let the others shine. This theme is all about leveraging your Fire Formation Spell/Trap cards as resources to fuel their effects. First, you activate one, such as Fire Formation – Tenki that tutors a Beast-Warrior on activation, then you later can send that to the GY to activate one of your other Fire Fist effects. Or, you can choose to skip that playstyle entirely by unleashing Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Eagle, a LINK-2 that lets you activate Fire Fist effects without sending Fire Fist or Fire Formation card(s) to the GY. This is actually the key component to your core combo, using Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Bear to destroy one of your Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Tiger King. You see, when destroyed, Tiger King Special Summons 2 Level 4 or lower Beast-Warrior monsters from your deck with the same ATK. Since this effect isn’t once per turn, you can loop this multiple times with the help of two Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Dragon, Special Summoned straight from your deck.
Enough about the endgame of your combos, let’s talk about how to get there. And that, my friends, lies with one Level 3 monster: Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Raven. If you aren’t acquainted with this guy, you better be, because he is the heart and soul of all Fire Fist combos now. Whenever he is sent from the field to the GY, you get to set a Fire Formation Spell from your deck. Therefore, the goal is to summon and send him as much as possible. As you’ll see in the replays, he can be looped through a variety of means, but most combos start with summoning Raven, Link Summoning Salamangreat Almiraj with him, then setting a Fire Formation – Domei. After activating it, you can send that Domei to the GY such as with Diabellstar the Black Witch or Original Sinful Spoils – Snake-Eye, and Domei will bring your Raven right back for more.
Beyond Domei, there’s a ton of other monsters that help send Raven from the GY to the Field and back. My favorite is the new Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames (YGOrg Translation), but you can also look to Salamangreat Burst Gryphon, Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Dragon, or even just tutoring a new copy straight from the deck via Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Horse Prince, if you really must.
Now that we’ve covered the start and central core of the Fire Fist combo, let’s get to the later stages with the Salamangreat Archetype. As you’ll notice in the archetype, the purpose of the Salamangreat side of today’s build is to provide even more endboard potential. Any two Level 3 monsters, such as Raven and a Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Rooster, can combine into Salamangreat Miragestallio. Stallio can then Special Summon Salamangreat Gazelle, which sends Salamangreat Roar to the GY. After the Link Summon of Salamangreat Balelynx to tutor Salamangreat Sanctuary, go into a Salamangreat Raging Phoenix linked on top of another, letting you search Salamangreat Charge as well. With that simple combo, you’ll get your Roar back while also stacking your GY in case your opponent finds a way to destroy a FIRE monster via card effect. The Charge I mentioned isn’t just to bring back Fire Fist or Salamangreat monsters: you see, you can utilize the new R4NK monster, Infernal Flame Banshee, to tutor or send any Pyro monster from your deck to the GY, and yes, that means you can tutor a copy of Barrier Statue of the Inferno. While it might not be useful in this meta with tons of FIRE decks running around, it’s still a potent disruption tool, especially when backed by the rest of your backrow.
Before I close out this description, I also want to give a shoutout to the Tri-Brigade archetype, which helps out here as being a great way to cheat out a Beast-Warrior Link monster, or just recycle a card that was drawn too early with the GY effect of Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom. It also helps that Tri-Brigade Fraktall is a Beast-Warrior that can be tutored off of Fire Formation – Tenki or even a Tiger King if necessary! Enjoy the rush of modern the modern Fire Fist strategy, new and improved with all the fun tools FIRE has to offer.
