F.A. Post-BPRO with Karakuri and Superheavy Samurai [CDP]

    QuincymccoyBy QuincymccoyMarch 2, 2026

    Vroom Vroom we must.

    Replays:

    Strategic Summary:

Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, this time tackling the ‘generic’ TCG World Premiere support for the F.A. archetype that debuted in Burst Procotol. For those who never took the time to meet our F.A. WIND Machine theme, this deck is unique in that their monsters gain ATK based on their Level, and their monsters gain Levels each time a F.A. S/T card or effect is activated. Some F.A. monsters even gain effects once their Level is high enough, like how F.A. Hang On Mach causes all cards that would be sent to the opponent’s GY to be banished instead. As indirect support for this theme, the deck received 3 new cards, the first of which is the most important, Mechanical Mechanic. This Level 3 WIND Tuner can Special Summon itself from hand when there’s a card in the Field Zone, then it can destroy any face-up S/T to tutor a WIND Machine with 0 ATK… which happens to be the entire F.A. archetype. The destruction is also a great way to trigger their Field Spells, as each tutors any F.A. card when destroyed while face-up on the field!

The second new card joins the fray in the Extra Deck, and that’s the Level 9 WIND Synchro, Jade Dragon Mech. On summon, Jade either mills a Machine Tuner, or if you control any monster whose Level differs from its original, it can Special Summon it instead. Since most of your F.A. cards will constantly be gaining Levels, this is great for the deck, also Level 9 Synchros are a breeze to make with F.A. Auto Navigator and Cosmo Queen the Queen of Prayers, or any other combination available to the deck. Or, if that’s not good enough for you, just turn to the Karakuri which allow you to get to Level 9 off of a Level 7 or Level 8 Synchro Summon due to Karakuri Gama mdl 4624 “Shirokunishi” being summoned from the deck by any of the Karakuri Synchros, or via the standard Superheavy Samurai Prodigy Wakaushi + Superheavy Samurai Soulgaia Booster combo. As the final new card, Mischief of the Wolves allows you to turbocharge all Levels at once, increasing the Levels of all monsters you control by 2, plus it can even recycle itself by destroying a face-up card, offering yet another way to trigger their Field Spells. All-in-all, the F.A. theme may not be the most competitive deck, but it certainly got a boost with the assistance of the new BPRO support!
