Strategic Summary:
With the new Fabled support cards from Blazing Vortex that all discard by effect, the Dark World archetype gets a massive boost as well! This fiendish synergy gives the deck quite a large amount of combo potential, unlocking plays from Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity during the opponent’s turn to reducing the opponent’s hand through the power of Ceruli, Guru of Dark World and Sillva, Warlord of Dark World. As far as the new support goes, the new Fabled Field Spell, Stairway to the Fabled World (YGOrg Translation), offers the ability to discard any 2 cards in hand while recovering a Fabled from the GY, even one you sent there earlier with its first effect. Alongside the new Synchro monster, this combination now has enough discard outlets to no longer need Dragged Down Into the Grave or Dark World Dealings! Let Grapha take over as you enter the Darkest World of Fables…
