Wield the Cross, Let Hellfire Rage.

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for today’s CDP, this time tackling the new Exodia support suite from the upcoming INFO set! That’s right, the OG alt win condition finally got quite the upgrade with this new theme, so let’s start talking about what’s changed for Exodia the Forbidden One. First up, he has a cool new Spell card in Millennium Cross (YGOrg Translation), which requires you to show 5 Forbidden One Monsters from your hand/Deck/Field, then you get to Special Summon their new Fusion, The Phantom Exodia Incarnate (YGOrg Translation), from your Extra Deck. This boss may start with 0 ATK, but when it battles, it gains ATK equal to your current LP. Also, it carries a S/T negate each turn, but my favorite effect is that it sets an Exodo S/T or Obliterate! from your Deck during the End Phase. While Obliterate! gets to bounce a targeted threat, Raging Hellfire – Exodo Flame (YGOrg Translation) is really where it is at, as this Trap Card destroys all cards your opponent controls, just for controlling a Level 10 or higher Exodia monster. This includes Phantom, as well as the old Exodia Boss, The Legendary Exodia Incarnate.
So if this all starts with Millennium Cross, you need a way to get to that quickly, and that’s where the Millennium archetype comes in. Shield of the Millennium Dynasty (YGOrg Translation), like the others, can place itself face-up in your S/T Zone as a Continuous Spell from the hand, then you can either pay 2000 LP or reveal Millennium Cross to Special Summon it. When you do, Shield tutors a copy of Millennium Cross. If you don’t have cross or Shield, Golem that Guards the Millenium Treasures (YGOrg Translation) can serve as a bridge, since when it is Special Summoned from the S/T zone in this manner, it tutors Shrine of Wedju (YGOrg Translation), the theme’s Field Spell that can place a Millennium monster into your S/T Zone from the deck. The last main Millennium monster is The Caveman that Awoke after a Millennium (YGOrg Translation), who tutors any Millennium monster whenever Special Summoned from being a Continuous Spell.
While this support is clearly chalk full of flavor and nostalgia, I have to take a few moments to talk about two support cards I enjoy pairing with this new Exodia support. First up is Realm Eulogy, a Quick-Play Spell that destroys a monster you control and negates an opponent’s monster effects. This pairs extremely well with the Millennium cards, as when they’re destroyed while Wedju is on your board, they return to the S/T Zone as a Continuous Spell instead of going to the GY. The second cool tech card plays well with this in Ages of Stars and Frost, since if a monster you control is destroyed by a Spell, you get to conduct your Battle Phase twice. That Phantom Exodia is about to get very beefy. Stars and Frost also recycles itself to the hand if a monster you control is shuffled into the Deck, which is exactly what Millennium Cross does! Altogether, this new Exodia support is really fun to duel with, but it’s even better if you can find a few cool techs to augment the strengths of the new theme! Enjoy responsibly!

I gotta say, Tenpai dragon should definitely use the spell Ages of stars and frost, cuz double battle phase is pretty good for em, can even see play in yubel, which uses Nightmare pain to do exactly what the requirement is.
Thanks for this! I love Exodia!
