Modulate Types for your GY Fusion Summons!
Replays:
Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another CDP inspired by one of Dan’s fantastic creations. This strategy takes Fusion Summoning using monsters in your GY as material to the next level. Let’s be real – everyone knows what the Dark World and Tearlaments archetypes do best. Dark World gains effects when discarded, and Fusion Summons using their in-theme Dark World Accession Spell which can Fusion Summon any Fiend monster. The Tearlaments gain effects when sent to the GY by any effect, and Fusion Summons when one of Tearlaments Merrli, Tearlaments Havnis, or Tearlaments Scheiren is sent to the GY. While King of the Swamp is a great Fusion Substitute for many summons with these Tearlaments monsters, I’m sure you would also want to push that pool as far as possible, so let’s introduce our dear friend, Rebirth Judgment.
This Continuous Trap offers a very simple, yet intriguing effect: each turn, change the Types of all monsters in the GY. Turn them into Fiends, and you can use Kaitoptera or Tearlaments monsters for the Fusion Summon of Clorless, Chaos King of Dark World. Turn them into Spellcasters, and you can Fusion Summon Quintet Magician with any 5 monsters in your GY with a Tearlaments effect. Turn them into Illusion monsters, and your King of the Swamp just helped you make a Chimera the Illusion Beast that can attack as many times as you have monsters in the GY. If all of these options aren’t enough for you, just remember that you can always turn to the OG Polymerization for a bit of help getting your Fusion game together. At the end of the day, you shouldn’t have to pick just one Fusion to shoot for – shoot to make them all, brought to you by Rebirth Judgment!

I’m surprised no one has ever gimmicked with Rebirth Judgement before. Defo a great idea for using it. But I think there are even better decks that can use tear with Rebirth Judgement. Like lightsworn.
