CDP: Despia Branded Dark World, now ft. Colorless, Chaos King of Dark World

Strategic Summary:

Welcome back for an updated take on a prior profile featuring the combination of the Despia archetype alongside the Dark World archetype. If you missed my first take on this hybrid strategy, be sure to check it out Linked Here.

Since the last time I’ve brought this to you, both sides of the deck have gotten a few much needed upgrades. On the Dark World side, Colorless, Chaos King of Dark World (YGOrg Translation) has finally entered the card game and he’s quite the destructive boss. Fusion Summoned using the OG Reign-Beaux and 2 or more Fiend monsters, this boss wipes your opponent’s board before going in for the kill with increasingly absurd ATK. The Dark World theme doesn’t have to use this on your own turn though, because Dark World Accession offers a Quick-Play Spell route to summoning Colorless, even if you had no other option than to send it to the GY via Branded Fusion when making a Lubellion the Searing Dragon. Speaking of the Branded/Despia side of this build, Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous makes an appearance as yet another way to Fusion Summon during the opponent’s turn, and with her Granguignol the Dusk Dragon Fusion, you have another way to get that Reign-Beaux loaded into the GY… or Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World if you so choose. Finally, that brings us to the last great addition which is Blazing Branded King, a new Trap that negates the effects of all other face-up cards on the field, as long as you target a Fusion monster that mentioned Fallen of Albaz. Bow down to the new Chaos King, Colorless!
