    CDP: DoomZ Mikanko with Artmage, A Equip-Palooza for Power Patrons

    Welcome back for another CDP, and today’s build revisits the DoomZ archetype now that I’ve had a bit more time to digest what the theme can accomplish with its first wave of support. Now that you’re back, let’s talk about what’s different with the build.

    As before, Medius the Pure remains as essential as ever to starting plays, as on summon, it brings Power Patron DoomZ out from your deck. From there, the pattern deviates as once the patron turns Medius into DoomZ Break – Diactorus, this starting a chain of events that leads through the Equip Spell Dogmatikacism, sends Herald of the Arc Light to the GY, and finally tutors Oohime the Manifested Mikanko. While this basic combo can be used to tutor any Ritual Card, I think the Mikanko is a perfect fit since they also use plenty of Equip cards to synergize with the other DoomZ effects, such as DoomZ XII Zero- Drastea turning into DoomZ XII End – Drastris during the opponent’s turn!

    On the Mikanko side of the deck, they exist to get the job done. While I’m using the new upcoming Mikanko support in Sanaki the Mikanko Devotee (YGOrg Translation) and Mikanko Divine Dance – Futahasira no Usu no Miko (YGOrg Translation), you really don’t have to, as they simply provide additional opportunities to enhance your end board. Without them, you still end up with an equipped Hu-Li the Jewel Mikanko and a set Mikanko Spiritwalk, and sometimes that’s all you need to take control of the duel. Speaking of control, I’m also using a very small engine of Artmage cards here, specifically Artmage Power Patron and Artmage Pact -Awakening-. Why? Because this enables you to make Artmage Diactorus for your board, capitalizing on your multi-type endboards to add another omni-negate! Put your opponent on the clock with my new take on DoomZ!

      Personally, I think you could splash Ohime and a small engine to summon her into any equip-centric deck to act as an equip recycler

      Speaking of equip strats + power patron lore, maybe a deck idea to keep on the back burner:

      Elvennotes + Revolution Synchron = Power Tool Braver Dragon. With the Elvennotes continuous cards + a variety of Equips tutored by Braver, you can make it into a kind of “protect the castle” strat.

      Revolution Synchron could let you commit your Normal Summon elsewhere, but you could potentially also run a small suite of the Ghost Girl handtraps to Sync with the Elvennotes to get to Braver even without Synchron.

      For braver you can go normal medius summon the elvennote power patron make medius lvl 7 synchro 8 accel synchro stardust dragon, patron effect when used as material to add an elvennote card. Accel effect to reborn the patron and make braver dragon with accel plus patron
