Take to the stars with Xyz Summoning!
Replays:
Strategic Summary:
Embark upon this journey across the stars, where we join the Constellar, the Tellarknight, and even the Constellarknight as we mingle Xyz Materials as if we were gods. The Constellar/Tellarknight archetypes have been intrinsically linked ever since both themes received shared legacy support a few packs ago, and the goals of both archetypes are similar: Make Good Xyz Monsters. Constellar Pleaides remains one of the best R5NK monsters, with its ability to detach any material to bounce a card on the field back to hand, while Stellarknight Delteros prevents the opponent from activating cards or effects when you Normal or Special Summon a monster. With a solid core of Level 4 monsters ranging from Satellarknight Debeb and Tellarknight Lyran for searching to Satellarknight Altair and Tellarknight Altairan for extending plays, this deck offers a simple gameplan – Spam Level 4 monsters, then make Xyz out of them. When you have something good like that, it makes a solid platform to build off of, so it helps that they got something like Constellar Tellarknights, a Continuous Spell that Special Summons a monster from either archetype on activation, plus it can change a Tellarknight or Constellar Xyz Monster into a different one with a different Rank. If you’re feeling extra spicy, leverage this Spell to bring out both Stellarknight Constellar Diamond and Darktellarknight Batlamyus, a combination of Xyz monsters that turn your opponents’ monsters to DARK as well as give you the power to negate the activations of DARK monster effects!
All of what I’ve said is true about a pure Constellar/Tellarknight deck, so what makes this different? Well, the inclusion of a Photon Galaxy engine, that’s for sure. You see, Galaxy Hundred gets to send any Photon or Galaxy card to the GY on activation. Should you send Galaxy War Drake (YGOrg Translation), that next Level 4 LIGHT Tellarknight or Constellar you Special Summon can allow War Drake to return from the GY, then turn both monsters into Level 8s. This unlocks more powerful Xyz monsters that the Constellarknight strategy has never had the chance to utilize, such as Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy to negate a Spell effect or Number 90: Galaxy-Eyes Photon Lord to negate a monster effect. Either way, it gives a breath of fresh air to an already well-tested combination of archetypes, especially once you factor in that Galaxy Photon Dragon is just 2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters away. With the help of options like Galaxy Hundred, Photon Jumper, and Photon Emperor, you even have a bit more latitude and utility to add to your Level 4 toolbelt. Chase the stars and join them, with the Constellarknights and their plentiful Xyzs!
