Strategic Summary:
Welcome back to a new profile, this time throwing everything but the kitchen sink into a Level 5-centric Warrior build, which stands ready to throw Fusions, Xyz, and Links together… with HEROes? I’ll start with the Star Warriors, a group of EARTH and LIGHT Warriors designed to Fusion Summon Idaten the Conqueror Star, made of 2 Level 5 or higher Warriors, that tutors a Level 5 Warrior on summon. Other Star Warriors that are worth a mention are Kaiki the Unity Star and Todoroki the Earthbolt Star (YGOrg Translation), each of which can be used to Fusion Summon a Warrior monster during the opponent’s turn. These Star Warriors are also joined by Kaiza the Hidden Star and Senko the Skybolt Star (YGOrg Translation), each of which gives a bit of additional utility to the strategy. The first lets you precisely mill the EARTH or LIGHT Warrior you want in the GY, while the second can banish itself from the GY to destroy an opponent’s monster. Either way, with Idaten’s generic tutoring, you have a slew of other Warriors joining us today. From Super Quantum Red Layer to Joker’s Knight and Jack’s Knight, we have plenty of Level 5 Warriors to be brought back with Feast of the Wild LV5 and Battleguard Cadet. Because with LIGHT Warriors comes Constellar Pleiades, but otherwise you can always turn to Chronomaly Vimana to negate monster effects instead.
But this deck doesn’t just involve the Star Warriors, it also heavily relies on the HEROes. Led by the normal combo of Neo Space Connector and Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin, this deck can quickly combo from Isolde, Twin Tales of the Noble Knights into many great HERO Fusions and support cards. In this particular built, we use both Elemental HERO Sunrise and Elemental HERO Absolute Zero, as well as bringing Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer into the fray, most of the time without even needing Fusion Destiny. But we’re running it anyways. There’s also Elemental HERO Spirit of Neos (YGOrg Translation), which moonlights as Fusion fodder for either Idaten or Raijin the Breakbolt Star (YGOrg Translation) while also being a handtrap to protect a monster from battle. And while you’re Fusion Summoning HEROs, don’t be afraid to look to Cross Keeper (YGOrg Translation) to provide an avenue to shuffle engine requirements back into your deck.
