Dream of a Clear World.

Strategic Summary:
Welcome to today’s CDP, and we’re back to showcase the new Clear World support cards from AC04 alongside another archetype. Clear World punishes each player for the assortment of Attributes across their field in various ways. For example, a player that controls a LIGHT monster must keep their hand revealed. With the new wave of support, you’ll quickly be able to apply all of the negative effects of Clear World to the opponent, even if they control no monsters, due to the effect of Clear Wall (YGOrg Translation). This Continuous Spell gets to tutor a monster that mentions Clear World each turn, and if you control a Level 7 or higher monster that mentions Clear World, all effects of the Field Spell apply at all times to the opponent. Plus, all of these Clear World cards make you, its controller, unaffected by any adverse effects? The new boss monster of the theme takes it even further, as Clear Vicious Knight (YGOrg Translation), the Level 7 Clear monster, prevents your opponent from activating the effects of Special Summoned monsters with ATK lower than it, as long as it was Tribute Summoned. It also happens to gain ATK equal to the original ATK of all Special Summoned monsters your opponent controls.
As for the second half of the deck, well that is one of my favorite archetypes – the Nemleria. This theme revolves around Dreaming Nemleria, a Level 1 Pendulum that can come back to the field with a vengeance once all of the face-down cards in your Extra Deck have disappeared. Supported by a suite of Level 10 monsters such as Nemleria Dream Devourer – Reveil and Dreaming Reality of Nemleria, Realized, this deck aims to banish your Extra Deck cards face-down, then use them to banish your opponent’s field face-down. If you use the theme’s tutor Spell, Sweet Dreams, Nemleria, while you have Dreaming Nemleria in your Extra Deck, your opponent can’t even respond to the summon of your Nemleria monsters for the rest of the turn, making it lights out for your opponent. Control the duel then banish away your opponent’s board – that’s exactly what this hybrid approach to the Clear World and Nemleria themes do!
