Fusion Dragons of Light and Darkness converge.

Strategic Summary:
Today’s CDP features both the return of the Dragonmaid archetype to my channel, as well as exploring the unique quirks of the newly expanded Light and Darkness ‘Chazz Chaos Dragon’ theme. These new suite of cards builds off of Light End Dragon, Dark End Dragon, then Light and Darkness Dragon to create a new group of Level 8 Dragons that aim to Fusion Summon! Much like its LIGHT counterpart, Dark End Evaporation Dragon (YGOrg Translation) can banish any Level 8 Dragon from your Extra Deck to Special Summon itself from the hand, then it can Fusion Summon using monsters from the hand/field as material. The in-theme goal is to Fusion Summon Light and Darkness Dragon Lord (YGOrg Translation), a Level 10 Fusion that must negate a Spell/Trap Card or monster effect activation at the cost of 1000 ATK/DEF, but this effect can only activate once per chain. This is a nice upgrade to the original, giving this Dragon hybrid build a second omni-negate at its disposal.
Speaking of hybrid, let’s get onto the Dragonmaid side of the deck. The Dragonmaid archetype consists of smaller Dragonmaid monsters that return to hand, Special Summoning their larger Level 7 and Level 8 Dragonmaid monsters from the hand or GY. From there, the cycle continues, as the larger Dragonmaid monsters can return themselves to hand to Special Summon the smaller ones! While this cycle all happens during the Battle Phase, this deck is far from battle phase centric, as Dragonmaid Sheou is their Level 10 Fusion that gives you a free Dragonmaid from the GY during each Standby Phase. Additionally, it is the theme’s original omni-negate, returning itself to the Extra Deck to negate a card or effect activation, then it Special Summons House Dragonmaid from your Extra Deck as a replacement. To synergize with all of their bouncing effects, House can destroy an opponent’s monster each time another Dragon returns to your hand, and it also can Special Summon a Dragonmaid from the GY during the Standby Phase, admittedly with a small caveat. Either way, both sides of the deck aim to Fusion Summon Dragons, so that’s exactly what this build brings you – all dragons all the time. Whether it’s through the new Evaporation Dragon, Light End Sublimation Dragon (YGOrg Translation), Dragonmaid Changing, or Dragon’s Mirror – this deck has the Dragon Fusion for you!

Reverse trap would would an amazing away of breaking Light and dark dragon lord, giving him infinite negate for a turn as well as an atk boost with every negate, but just have to make sure to apply reverse trap before summoning him
…there may or may not be some stupid, gimmick OTK?
Resolve Reverse Trap, Summon LADD (either works), find something that you can attempt to activate multiple times a turn. Treeborn Frog sadly works only in Standby Phase, making it clunky and not viable.
I’m not a 10/10 rulings expert, but my guess is that it would not actually negate since the ATK/DEF wasn’t lowered while Reverse Trap is active. What you could do is just beef him up one turn, to then have neat infinite negates on the next. Or use Reverse to re-boost back up its ATK after it is spent… interesting thoughts.
As far as infinite activations, i do have a fun profile coming Soon that takes advantage of that with BBS! So look forward to that near the end of next week.
Oh yeh, that works with apollousa too. I remember making a deck that revolved around that. It was soo funny trolling with an infinite negate that kept getting stronger.
I think it works with LADD too, but ik it 100% works with apollousa.
Based on the yugipedia rulings page on Apollousa, it would keep gaining atk, but it wouldn’t negate the monster effects while Reverse is live. So I’d guess LADL would work the same way. Oh well, still a cool idea I’ll file in the back of my head tho.

U should definitely try Horus Mekk-knight.
the amount of high-level monsters and extenders is insane.
Also the Magical Musket Fiendsmith deck was great, u could also add Into The Vrains. to protect ur Max from being disrupted.
