Star-crossed archetypes combine for the Super Ritual.

Strategic Summary:
Today’s chaotic Creative Deck Profile is brought to you by early legacy support card design of trying to link retrained versions of iconic monsters together into one cohesive strategy, and the posterchild for this design is the Black Luster Soldier [BLS] strategy. The goal here is to Ritual Summon your Black Luster Solider – Super Soldier using Beginning Knight and Evening Twilight Knight, OR using Charging Gaia the Fierce Knight or Arisen Gaia the Fierce Knight alongside a Level 1 monster, and once you do, leverage the power of the Super Soldier to win you the game. In reality, this strategy wasn’t even strong enough out of its first set, as consistency was lacking and the deck didn’t really have many options available to Tribute or banish your monsters, key to activating their effects. This brings us to the present deck where I asked the question, how do we force this strategy to more consistently activate their effects?
The first solution is to find someone who can do both, so I turned to the Combat Star theme, looking to Kaiza the Hidden Star. This EARTH Warrior can Special Summon itself from the hand by tributing a LIGHT or EARTH Warrior, perfect for triggering your Charging Gaia. Additionally, it can banish any Warrior to send a LIGHT or EARTH Warrior to the GY. This second effect works great with your Level 4 Knights, triggering their GY effects to tutor a Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell, but it also can be leveraged to send Super Soldier Soul to the GY, which has a GY effect of its own to tutor one of the Level 4 Knights. But Kaiza is one-of-a-kind, there really aren’t other cards that also accomplish both goals, so I was forced to look elsewhere – for cards that benefit your strategy with Tributing and/or banishing.
Well, the banishing should be fairly obvious – I looked to the Bystial archetype. This theme consists of Level 6 Dragons that can banish a LIGHT or DARK from the GY to Special Summon themselves. Of course, this works exceptionally well with the Level 4 Knights, especially since you can also use them with a Bystial to Synchro Summon Chaos Angel! On the other side, for the Tributing, I turned back to Duality, a Quick-Play Spell that can tribute a LIGHT or DARK monster to Special Summon a monster with the same Type and Level but other Attribute from your Extra Deck. In here, Charging Gaia can turn into Blackwing Tamer – Obsidian Hawk Joe, Arisen Gaia can turn into A★Speculation (YGOrg Translation), and The Bystial Lubellion can turn into Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon.
Alright, we’ve covered the side show enough, let’s get to the actual Ritual Summoning. There are three Ritual Spells in play today: the first is Super Soldier Synthesis, which uses a LIGHT or DARK from the hand and one of the other Attribute from your Deck to Ritual Summon a BLS from your hand or GY. This is your best Ritual Spell, since it is the most consistent as using the Level 4 Knights to Ritual Summon, granting the bonus effects to BLS. The second is Advanced Ritual Art, which can use the new Normal Monster Black Luster Soldier (YGOrg Translation) from your Deck as material. This works extremely well with Black Luster Soldier – Legendary Swordsman, the third BLS Ritual, as it gets to shuffle all cards the opponent controls into the Deck if it destroys a monster by battle after being Ritual Summoned using a Normal Monster. The last Ritual Spell option is Super Soldier Ritual, which is just your general Ritual Summon from hand option. Altogether, this deck blends a ton of different themes, sub-engines, and boss monsters together into one cohesive strategy… or at least, the most cohesive I can figure out how to make!

Big BLS fan.
Thanks for doing this. I know it’s not very viable but it’s cool to have a skeleton to go off of.
