An Engine of Destruction meets a new Maiden…

Strategic Summary:
Welcome to my first profile of the month, and this time I wanted to showcase the first half of the new Blue-Eyes support cards in their upcoming Structure Deck alongside the newest archetype of hand traps. The Blue-Eyes strategy centers around Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and over the years, they have fleshed out the theme to include Ritual Monsters, Fusion Monsters, and most notably, Synchros. Led by LIGHT Spellcaster Tuners, the Blue-Eyes Synchro strategy got a major boost with the arrival of Blue-Eyes Spirit Ultimate Dragon (YGOrg Translation), a Level 12 Synchro that can negate any card or effect that’s activated on the field once per turn. Additionally, when destroyed, it Special Summons any LIGHT Dragon from the GY. This pairs extremely well with Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, their older Level 9 Synchro, but it also unlocks combos with The Crimson Dragon, another LIGHT Dragon Synchro you can take advantage of. To make these new boss monsters, the Blue-Eyes theme can now turn to Maiden of White (YGOrg Translation), a Level 1 Tuner that places True Light on your Field, plus it Special Summons itself back from the GY when a Blue-Eyes White Dragon is Special Summoned.
As you’ll see in the replays, this adds an insane amount of consistency to the Blue-Eyes deck, as combined with their two new Spells to increase consistency, they have plenty of tools to execute their plays. Speaking of the Spells, Prayers with Eyes of Blue (YGOrg Translation) is the most important, adding both a LIGHT Tuner and a S/T that mentions Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Ultimately, you’ll be able to access all the Blue-Eyes bosses, whether it is Dragon Master Magia via Ultimate Fusion or Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon using a High Ritual Art tutored by Blue-Eyes Abyss Dragon. And what makes all of these plays even more likely? The Mulcharmy monsters. These hand traps appear to be headed in the direction of becoming a bunch of Maxx “C” alter-egos, as Mulcharmy Purulia lets you draw each time your opponent summons a monster from the hand, while Mulcharmy Fuwaross (YGOrg Translation) draws a card each time they Special Summon from the Deck or Extra Deck. Be sure to enjoy this deck, as we eagerly await the rest of the new cards… hopefully there’s a Mausoleum upgrade on the way!

This week we are going to get the rest of the blue eyes sd revealed so this list will probably get changed 😉
Definitely! But I’m hoping that they give us more things that allow BEWD to bridge with other archetypes to showcase the rest of the stuff.
The next day…
oh boy! another casual deck that is somehow more expensive than the current engine slop!
As cool as this decklist is, attempting to play anything resembling it IRL will be a long time waiting.
Leaning on degenerate hand traps enough to think the deserve a place in the deck title. No skill.
