CDP: Azamina Toy Magician Girl Performage Sinful Spoils, ft. Performapal Sky Magician Girl

On todays installment of ‘Engines, the Deck’!

Strategic Summary:

Welcome back for another CDP, and this time we’re combining a bunch of mini engines into one strategy that coherently works together to win duels! I’ll go in order based on the title, so I’m going to start with the Azamina. This Illusion theme of Fusion Monsters that are faux-Fusion Summoned out of the Extra Deck using Sinful Spoils material via Sacred Azamina (YGOrg Translation) or Azamina Hamartia (YGOrg Translation) offer quite a variety of supportive effects to your deck. If you need a negate, turn to Azamina Rhea Silvera (YGOrg Translation), if you need to send a card to the GY, turn to Azamina Sol Erysichthon (YGOrg Translation), etc. But where this engine shines is its simplicity – all you need is a copy of Sinful Spoils Deception (YGOrg Translation) and any monster, and you’ll have enough to make your first Fusion Summon. As for the Toy theme, they love to be set to the backrow as face-down Spells, especially when you do two at once with Toy Box. From there, they are fodder waiting to be sent to the GY, offering you so much card advantage just for playing the game. With Toy Box and Deception you now have two easily searchable Continuous Spells, so that brings us to the star of the deck, Performapal Sky Magician Girl (YGOrg Translation).

This Level 5 WIND Spellcaster gets to Special Summon itself while you control any Continuous Spell, plus it sends a LIGHT Spellcaster from your Deck to the GY when Special Summoned from the hand. In most cases, you’ll be using this effect to send Performage Damage Juggler or Performage Trick Clown to extend your plays, as each gives you additional level 4 material to play with. Sky Magician Girl also has an additional effect, as when it is sent to the GY, it can destroy a S/T on the field. If you’re thinking what I’m thinking, you already know you could combine this with your set Toy monsters, giving you an on-brand way to trigger their summons. And if you’re worried about grabbing that Sky Magician Girl, don’t, because I even turned to Berry Magician Girl to give the deck even greater access! Holding this all together is the Sinful Spoils + Diabellstar the Black Witch engine, giving you innate consistency and yet another way to trigger your Toy monsters! All in all this is a really fun hodgepodge of themes, so be sure to check it out in action by watching the replays!
