Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and this time we’re following up on my previous Azamina build by gaining additional value out of tributing monsters to activate Deception of the Sinful Spoils. If you missed my last take with Cyber Angel, be sure to check it out here: https://youtu.be/Dp053JyoMCE . Now that you’re caught up, the heart of this combination is to Tribute any of your Hieratic monsters, Special Summon a Normal Dragon Tuner, then open your deck up to a bunch of options. With both Galaxy Serpent and Labradorite Dragon at your disposal, a copy of Deception with a Hieratic can lead to any of the following: the Summon of Ultimaya Tzolkin (with Deception being set in the End Phase), the Xyz Summon of Hieratic Dragon King of Atum, the Synchro Summon of Chaos Archfiend, or even the Synchro Summon of any Centur-Ion Synchro monster. How? Well with both Level 6’s, you can make either Centur-Ion Legatia or Centur-Ion Auxila. If you bring out Serpent, that leads you to the new Centur-Ion Primera Primus, which also leads to a Centur-Ion full-combo by tutoring an Emblema card.

I know I mentioned Archfiend before, but I want to footstomp this: with the variety of LIGHT and DARK monsters at your disposal, you really do have access to the Chaos synchros, both Chaos Angel and Chaos Archfiend, and that can be enough to turn the tides in your favor. Finally, even if all of your cool combos are disrupted by various means and you are left with a Normal Monster, Primite Imperial Dragon can leverage the leftovers to disrupt the opponent during their turn. It just adds to the disruption offered by Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon, Azamina Ilia Silvia, or even Primite Drillbeam.
