Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and this time we’re combining the DARK Illusion Fusion Azamina monsters with the Cyber Angel Ritual theme! If you missed my last time covering the Azamina as just a supportive engine, be sure to check that out here: https://youtu.be/bRDPoYYU66k. Now that you’re back, let’s give the Azamina theme a bit more of a spotlight. You see, this build aims to leverage Sinful Spoils Deception (YGOrg Translation), tributing something in your hand that would want to be tributed… like Cyber Angel Benten. If this already sounds like a good idea, that’s because it is. From my perspective, the Cyber Angel theme has so many powerful tools in its toolkit, but it has always had to ride on something else’s coattails to have the biggest impact. It’s been heavily used in Drytron, but in this build, it is more than just tribute fodder – it also offers a boss of its own in Cyber Angel Vrash, a Level 10 Ritual that destroys as many monsters your opponent controls as possible that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck.

Beyond the obvious synergy with Benten, what else does this hybrid offering bring? Well first, Diviner of the Herald is yet another Tribute option, because when you do, you get access to either Cyber Egg Angel or Cyber Petit Angel, two Level 2 LIGHT Fairies that tutor Cyber Angel support cards on summon. Once you get Ritual Sanctuary on the board, leveraging its second effect to bring back Diviner will give you access to Herald of the Arc Light. Pair that with Azamina Rhea Silvera (YGOrg Translation), and perhaps even a Dyna Mondo, and your board will be tough for most opponents to overcome. And should they fail to end you in one fell swoop, Cyber Angel Natasha is waiting in the wings to repeatedly steal away your opponents’ monsters, gaining oodles of LP along the way to give you even more of a fighting chance to stay in the duel.
