Strategic Summary:
Today’s frustrating profile is brought to you by all of the cards that want to ruin your opponent’s day. From the monster’s front, we’re bringing Inspector Boarder and Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo. Boarder locks down monster effect activations, turning monster card types on the board into potential activated monster effects. On the other hand, Fossil Dyna prevents both players from Special Summoning. The combination of these two monsters can be deadly, as few decks can put out different monster card types on demand without the use of Special Summons. However, if they do, that’s when the Dogmatika engine comes out to play. Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous is the first tutor, able to tutor a Dogmatika card when Normal or Special Summoned. While we’ll typically be tutoring out Dogmatika Punishment in this build, you can also turn to Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Knighted if your opponent already has a monster out that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck. Don’t forget, Dogmatika Punishment (along with Nadir Servant) can easily send the new TCG WP, Garura, Wings of Resonant Life, from the Extra Deck to the GY for an additional draw as well!
As for the disruptive spells, that of course leads us to Mystic Mine and Necrovalley. I really don’t need to say more here, do I? Lastly, we come to the core of the deck – all of the traps. Whether it is Solemn Judgement and Compulsory Evacuation Device giving you ways to prevent your opponent from building a board to Evenly Matched and Infinite Impermanence to let you break through an established board, this deck has options. So many options, that your opponent will be crying on the inside. This is before you factor in that the deck also runs a Branded Fusion engine to unlock Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon, which also gives it another form of disruption in the Counter Trap – Branded Retribution. Holding all of these disruptive options together is the twin pots, Pot of Extravagance and Pot of Duality. With all of these tools and ways to grab the ones you need, this deck lives to slow the opponent to a crawl to give you the chance to beat them before they can muster a defense to defeat you! Challenge the norms with Anti-Meta.
