Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, this time showcasing the new TCG WP support cards as we revisit the Angelechy theme in celebration of BETB's OTS debut. This archetype of LIGHT and DARK Fairy Synchro monsters has gotten a massive upgrade as their second wave, so let's talk about the best new tools. First up is Angelechy Strategy Score, a Normal Spell that simply tutors another Angelechy S/T. This is important, as now we finally have more better options to grab with Angelechy Destrider. Next up is Angelechy Endgame Problem, a second Field Spell for the theme that can empower Angelechy Opening to e4 to be an insane card going 2nd, not only building a backrow of 4 Angelechy Spells before your opponent's first Main Phase, but also 2 draws on top of that! Then lastly, we herald the arrival of Angelechy Seneschal, a Level 10 DARK Fairy that Special Summons a free Fairy Synchro when it is Special Summoned.All of these Angelechy are great at applying pressure, but what if you need more oomph to win the duel? That's where I turn to the Ashtra, a group of big bodies that can all be easily Special Summoned! Whether you turn to Mikumari the Sealing Deity Ashtra or Ya the Plague Deity Ashtra, you can pretty much start a full combo to get to multiple Ashtra cards on your first turn. This is especially cool if you factor in their Field Spell can send your Transaction Rollback or Angelechy Traps to the GY, such as Angelechy Disturbance, giving you even more field presence even if you draw engine requirements. The big new additions for the Ashtra theme are there 2 TCG WPs that make a huge mark: Audhumla, Progenitor of the Frozen Expanse is up first, as it is a Level 9 Aqua that easily Special Summons itself, then it also can send up to 2 S/Ts to the GY to draw that many cards, similar to Magicians' Souls! The other new card is Kerolia the Frolicsome, a Level 1 Aqua Tuner that Special Summons itself when you do normal Ashtra things, plus it also can set a banished Normal Trap back onto your board.
