Strategic Summary:
Today’s Creative Deck Profile features the return of the Agent archetype to my channel, a group of LIGHT and DARK Fairies that are known for their combo abilities. The primary ‘agent’ of combo prowess is The Agent of Creation – Venus, a LIGHT Level 3 that can pay 500 LP to Special Summon a Mystical Shine Ball from your hand/Deck. Since this effect can be used any number of times, you can end up comboing it with The Agent of Destruction – Venus, its DARK counterpart, that can pay up to 1500 LP to Special Summon Mystical Shine Balls from your GY or banishment. With endless Shine Balls come endless Link Material, so you’ll quickly be able to bring out bosses like Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess, themed monsters like Celestial Knightlord Parshath, or simply setup for a fun combo with I:P Masquerena.
My personal favorite combo is to go into Saryuja Skull Dread, a LINK-4 option, then use its effect to bring out Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju. Combined with Kyoutou Waterfront, which you can tutor with Ancient Fairy Dragon since a few Agent monsters are Tuners, you’ll be able to negate so many cards that your opponent just might not be able to overcome your board. What has held back this theme for so long though is that The Agent of Mystery – Earth is a chokepoint: if you use the Normal Summon on it, you won’t have a Normal Summon to bring out Venus to get your plays started. This is where Morganite comes in. Time-Tearing Morganite was released first, a Spell that gives you 2 Draws per turn each Draw Phase and a second Normal Summon each turn. Next came End-Exalting Morganite (YGOrg Translation), which gives your monsters 2 attacks per turn and doubles the battle damage they inflict when battling monsters. End-Exalting can also be banished from the GY to tutor any Morganite card. While these effects seem very overpowered, they come at the cost of preventing you from activating monster effects in hand the rest of the duel. That’s not a problem for the Agents, making this such a fun combo! Hope you appreciated this visit to the Sanctuary in the Sky!

hmmm… if you’re going by similar playstyle when combining archetypes, I’d like to see a MVLICE deck that either pairs with Ritual Beast or runs a Ritual Beast engine
This decklist inspired me to play around with the Morganite cards, and I made both a Constellarknight Morganite deck (since so many of their monster affects trigger off of normal summons) and a Cloudian Morganite (I love Cloudians). I’d enjoy seeing your take on either of these silly things ( :
