You can only use the (1) effect of “Maryuusei – Toutetsu” once per turn.
(1) If this card you control is destroyed (by battle or by a card effect): You can Special Summon 1 “Yang Zing” monster from your Deck in face-up Defense Position, except “Maryuusei – Toutetsu”.
(2) Once per turn, during your opponent’s Main Phase or your opponent’s Battle Phase, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Synchro Monster using “Yang Zing” monsters you control only (this is a Quick Effect).
(3) Control of a face-up Synchro Monster Summoned by using this card as a Synchro Material monster cannot switch.

With the appearance of the Level 5 “Taotie, Evil of the Yang Zing”, the variety of the 2 monsters you can Summon with the effect of “Jiaotu, Darkness of the Yang Zing” (introduced last time), increases, allowing for even more explosive combos!

Level 6/Jiaotu, Darkness of the Yang Zing + Pulao, Wind of the Yang Zing + Bian, Earth of the Yang Zing/Not destroyed by battle, Unaffected by Spell Cards.
Level 7/Jiaotu, Darkness of the Yang Zing + Taotie, Evil of the Yang Zing/Control cannot change.

If you add the Level 5 “Taotie, Evil of the Yang Zing” and “Bixi, Water of the Yang Zing” into your Deck, you can use the effect of “Jiaotu, Darkness of the Yang Zing” to make it possible for you to Synchro Summon Level 9 Synchro Monsters, such as “Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier” and “Mist Wurm”!
