Duel Monsters” 15th Anniversary Product: “Memories of the Duel King: Duelist Kingdom Ver.” is a 15th anniversary related product going on sale March 8th, a Duel Set centered around a Deck based on Yugi’s Deck from Duelist Kingdom! An Xyz Monster that ties in with that Yugi based Deck is being released in V Jump ahead of the product’s release!

“Dark Magician of Illusions” is an Xyz Monster that creates explosive combos with Normal Spellcaster-Type monsters such as “Dark Magician“! Since he’s Rank 7, his ability to work with Level 7s like “Dark Magician” is incredible!

You can Xyz Summon him with 2 Level 7 monsters! Also, you can Xyz Summon him by overlaying him on top of a Rank 6 Spellcaster-Type Xyz! By using an Xyz Material, you can Special Summon a Spellcaster-Type Normal Monster from your hand or Deck, making it quite useful in a Deck that centers around the Dark Magician! And the icing to this cake is when a Spellcaster-Type Normal Monster declares an attack, you can target and banish 1 card your opponent controls! Use this change to make an explosive breakthrough!
You can Xyz Summon it by Overlaying it on top of a Rank 6 Spellcaster-Type Monster!
“Dark Magician of Illusions” can be Xyz Summoned by overlaying it on top of a Rank 6 Spellcaster-Type monster, and it has incredible infinity with “Magi Magi ☆ Magician Gal” who was included in a previous issue of “Weekly Shonen Jump”! Use it if you have it! Also, “Norito the Moral Leader” in “Collector’s Pack: ZEXAL Ver.” is also a Rank 6 Spellcaster-Type monster! You can use “Dark Magician Girl” to help Xyz Summon a Rank 6 Spellcaster-Type, and then bring out “Dark Magician of Illusions”!
