Accept the warm embrace of Sylv-chan, as she rubs your head holds you close and tells you it’ll be ok
So, to avoid a Praime Dwarf with this Deck, they decided to split it into two cards: Delirium Sylvix (which is just Poly in Monster form) and Delirium Embrace (which is Super Poly for LIGHT Insect specifically with some restrictions)
Fusion Monsters, due to being generic, have simple or unremarkable Effects. In fact, many cards in that Deck seem pretty simple, but they follow the trick of turning your Opponent’s Monsters into Insect.
There are almost a total of 23 Slots for this Deck, so it has the potential to show something more interesting in the future.
PS: I see that there are Users commenting on some Posts, but I can’t see the new Comments that Users post (I get “No Comments”, but when I go to YGOrganization, it says that there are “8 Comments” on that Post)
The low leveled monsters make it easier to get Papillon’s draw. Sylvix combos well with Lampryis and lets you fuse in scenarios where you won’t have Embrace.
The first Fusion recovers your Sylvix and the minis back into the Deck so you can reuse their effects on subsequent turns and has amazing non destruction removal.
The second Fusion has decent protection and is amazing against mirror matches and Praime.
Overall Dino > Delirium >>>> Red-Eyes. Hopefully the next waves of support over the coming two months helps improve Red-Eyes a bit more given how many cards each theme has in here.
Mothers
I hope they will print Evasive Chaos Ninsect in this pack or Terminal World 2.
Interesting archetype.
These cards are actually really good! They aren’t meta defining, but they’re pretty cute for what they do. Overall in terms of stuff so far this is probably not as good as the dino stuff, but better than the red eyes support
well dang
what means exactly 7~9? between 7 or 9 I guess, or does it mean only 7 or 9?
7 through 9, instead of listing 7 8 9.
Mommy?
Sorry mommy?
Waifus insects
Would it be prudent to pick up the two existing Delirium monsters before this Triple Build pack comes out, or are chances high that they will be reprinted as part of it?
They’ll definitely be reprinted as part of this.
Fleeting’s protection is weird but makes the Mirror matchup painful for both sides and shuts off Praime dwarf. The rest is pretty cool and it’s the first Super Poly type Spell card we’ve had. The consistency from the new lower level monsters means you’re likely to get your fusion with an opp piece too.
I can see Delirium as a meta contender if Red-eyes falls short. Still kinda funny how neglected Red-eyes in the OCG while it’s practically the favorite nostalgia child in Rush. I’m pretty sure it’s gotten more support than Blue-eyes and DM at this point.
I love how just because Weevil did it once in canon (and twice if you count filler), the Insect Type has become irrevocably associated with turning your opponent’s monsters into bugs and then using them for your advantage, XD
Erotic
The 2nd Fusion monster is basically an anti- Super Poly; if Super Polymerization does come to Rush Duel, it won’t be a Quick Play. Turning opponents monsters to Insect, classic Weevil strategy minus the Insect Barrier.
It hard counters a specific monster that has a Super Poly effect – Praime Dwarf. Dwarf is often used to fuse into Pierce Giant which needs itself and any LIGHT. As Delirium is mono LIGHT they needed in protection against Dwarf.
Curiously Delirium is really good against Praime since they are all LIGHT Level 7-9, Lampyris can take control of them to Tribute into Sylvix, and you can use Embrace to fuse their monsters even the Fusion.
“joey: Weevil thouse aren’t bugs… thouse are girls!! ”
Moment
Idk something makes this more appealing then other waifu archetypes in the Rush or even Master formats as of late.
SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEX
I AM SEEEEEEEEX
SEXOOOOOOOO
Would be a nice theme in the real game…but no it’s in rush duel. Get rid of Rush duels please.
boo hoo keep crying
well yeah because Konami keeps derailing from the real game to this kiddy version of it.
