They combined all the forbidden cards into one card lmao
Manifestation of Evil is Coming!!!
Oh, she thinks that because she’s fallen, she has a chance at Morningstar’s Crown
klepto mania GO
kleptomania GO
Potentially a Genesys staple when it arrives in the TCG.
Nah, easy 100 points.
Following the theme of the forbidden cards being based on items from Jesus’ Passion, this is pretty likely based on the Crown of Thorns.
Excuse my ignorance but, isn’t “except its own” in the 4th bullet a redundancy over “Its effects are negated”?
It’s a way to address cards that say “This effect cannot be negated”
You can only apply 1 of the effects
The “except its own” part is for any lingering effects a monster might apply to itself, which would persist even after its effects are negated. Not that I can think of any examples off the top of my head, but it’s a similar principle to the new Timaeus’ effect immunity not working on anything applied before said effect was activated (e.g. Gaze of Timaeus’ banish effect): https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Timaeus_the_United_Magidragon
Ignore my comment, I misread the post
Ztar no it applies all of them. did you not read it?
welp that message loaded after. carry on
So I can use this the link 3 hearts maliss since it’s effect can’t be negated to would be invincible for 1 turn have 5k atk and can still use its effect
I knew there was going to be a new forbidden card
Me no likey 🙁
Good card, both defence & offensive
Man that’s crazy versatile. You could set up some omninegate slop, use its negate, and then protect it completely for next turn
In some ways, it’s more flexible than Forbidden Droplet, and in others, it’s a bit more limited. It’s hard to predict how much play this card will see
It’s also not a card for decks wanting to go second, even if it seems like one. You can’t destroy them by battle, and it trades 1 for 1, it’s basically a better kaiju since they can’t float the monster back to the board.
i’m expecting this card to see play as at least a 1 of in go first decks. It’s great for offense and defense, it can singlehandly save you from an OTK, interrupt a full combo, or start breaking board. i like it.
And since it’s a quick-play you can use your monster effects, get negated by an opponent’s monster, chain link with Forbidden Crown on the monster that negated yours, and now they can’t negate your monster unless they have face up card negation like fiendsmiths.
Me Likey, specially the effects cannot be tributed and cannot be used as material
It seems more like a card you would want to use to protect your own monsters rather than use as a disruption. I do like that you have the option to do both with it. Its definitely the most versatile Forbidden card so far.
The artwork looks weird like a devianart post xd
Pd: she is trying to steal lucifer Brown?
Does this imply we will get a new Fallen Fusion? hmmm!!
$90 short print secret incoming!
How does it work if it also makes the monster unanffected.
All effects are applied simultaneously. So it’s not unaffected at the point every effect is applied.
Hmmm.. Can I use this to get protection effects from tributing and material by opponent’s if apply it to my unaffected monster like Liger
I don’t think so mate
Does the artwork depict Lucifer getting his ass kicked? Seems to me like he lost.
Wow. Crooked Cook got even more annoying now, with this new Forbidden quickplay.
How cute it has six effects because of the number of the beast
Only missing 660 effects. Give it a few years.
Still waiting for the next season card it’s been a year already
“It cannot be used as material for a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Summon.” Might as well have excluded Fusion from this since you can’t even use it to protect from Super Poly and you can’t stop them fusing from the hand, grave, or deck.
I love her. She’s so smug.
Rather taking it, I think Condemned Darklord might be placing the crown on Morningstar, which causes his transformation from The First Darklord to Darklord of the Evening Twilight. The lore implied that Condemned Darklord wanted to manipulate Morningstar to achieve her goals of revenge, and Forbidden Crown might actually be some sort of control device; you can see how the color scheme for Morningstar’s new fusion much more closely matches that of Condemned Darklord.
