Structure Deck: Advent of the Eyes of Blue
“Blue-Eyes White Dragon”, the popular card that represents Yu-Gi-Oh! itself is getting focus in a new Structure Deck releasing on September 7th 2024.
The Deck will contain 8 new cards, and a “Rarity Enhancement Pack” to further boost the rarity of the new cards! Five out of the 8 new cards will be included in the pack in Super Rare or higher! There’s even a rare chance you might get a Quarter Century Secret Rare!

● 1 Pre-Constructed Deck (50 cards, 1 Ultra Rare, 7 Normal Parallel Rare)
● 1 Rarity Enhancement Pack (5 out of 8)
● 1 card only in Secret Rare, 7 Super Rare, with each Super Rare also able to be a Secret Rare
● 3 out of the 8 cards can come in Quarter Century Secret Rare

As many users were asking here actually. They wanted new support for either DM or BEWD.
Honestly I hope this structure deck get imported into the TCG so there can finally be a cheap version of Alternative to get.
I noticed they skipped the Realm of the Sea Emperor deck.

It’s not advertised as an SDR, even though Blue-Eyes already had a dedicated Structure Deck -one that gave us Dragon Shrine and Azure Eyes Silver Dragon. Unfairly, it’s getting yet another SD.
Maybe the SDR for the year will take the winter SD release slot that has been in December in past years
It that’s true then we should be getting the Chaos Dragons or Sea Emperor deck next.

Damn, we just got the ABC refrain announced, and now Blue-Eyes. Kaiba Deck keeps getting more love from Konami. Maybe next we can get Ox Ox refrain?

Can Konami please acknowledge red-eyes existence it’s literally the year of the dragon and its 2024 the 2400 stat line is perfect come on I’m sick of being far behind in support just to be compared to DM/BE like it’s a fair comparison when they’re the favorite children
Basically, Konami gave the love to Red-Eyes in Rush Duels of all things.
I’m sure Konami sees Red-Eyes as a lost cause in OCG/TCG for everything messing up its gameplay.
Instead they are ready to release the same 2 useless cards every year
there are 2 lines that are faring well. the metal line and the zombie line
Chinese Dragons (like that one in the calendar) and European Dragons are completely different species. But I really hope that there will be a retrain of Rabidragon. That would be awesome.
8 new cards, still gonna be unplayable, hopefully we at least get cards that link blue-eyes and obelisk so we can play an anime deck.

Technically this could be a Revival Structure deck since there was a Blue Eyes Structure deck. However they seem to skip the Choas and Sea Emperor deck for some reason.
Is this an SDR? Cause Blue-Eyes got a whole Structure Deck years ago… and plenty of support since then. Ugh

Probably due to its high rarity and being a key piece in BE Decks. Also, the last reprint was like 3 years ago, this is an ideal opportunity for a new reprint.

Please let this support be Synchro/Link support for Blue-eyes. With playstyle similar to the Agent loaner deck in Master Duel during the Synchro/Link Festival. A revamp of Azure-eyes and more eyes of blue monsters. Perhaps link monsters that are a cross between a design after Kaiba’s duel disk from the Darkside of Dimensions movie and past old favorites like his Paladin of white dragon.

This could either be a revival structure deck or a deck based on a character from a era of Yugioh (Utopia/Crystal Beast/RDA)
So that means next year we’ll be getting a Arc V or Vrains deck.
Yup, this is a yearly character SD. It’s release date was only put off to later date.
Blue-Eyes got a dedicated SD in 2013. It should not have got anything more than an SDR. But this isn’t advertised on as an SDR.

people love to exagerate how much support one of the two mascots get despite Heroes, Odd-Eyes/Pendulum and stuff getting way more consistent support

Nah Man, don’t come to me and try to be smart. Nobody is surprised, in my personal case it is simply tired of having to see the lizard have another deck structure when it does not contribute anything productive to the game except nostalgia bait
“But, but… it’s the year of the dragon” well, great, there are like fifty strategies that belong to this tribe and Konami chooses to give a structure to the only strategy that has guaranteed support as long as this game exists. Even Houduni’s rip-off contributes to more strategies despite having the same egocentric design tendency

About time and it hopefully is synchro focused due to eyes of blue in name of deck. People complain about blue-eyes getting “too much” support which is dumb as heroes, pendulum/odd-eyes, galaxy/photon, blackwing all get way more support but no complaints. Hoping for a level 10 synchro boss monster as well as better tuners, self summoning level 8 that can be treated as blue-eyes in hand, field and gy. Top it off, a better fusion spell along with moresynergy between fusion and synchro.
For people hoping for a structure deck r, theres no order or pattern to them. If there was, wed have a Dragons Roar (Red-Eyes Darkness) structure deck years ago

Not really. You are probably thinking of the English Asia decks which were purely reprints that TCG Players can’t use.
There was a Blue-Eyes Structure Deck for Rush Duel last September.
Sad how no one mentions Ritual Monsters when the archetype only has a single decent one, which is just a beater. I hope we get a couple more, one being named “Lord of the Blue”. A new Synchro and XYZ would be nice as well.

All I foresee is advent of the eyes of negate. I was happy with just the og structure deck before the glut of otk support flowed without end. The only thing missing is a fusion of BEUD and a non-LIGHT monster where it loses atk each turn equal to the non-LIGHT material.

Gross. BEWD gets way too much from Konami. I get that nostalgia sells, but it’s boring getting a new BEWD support product practically every year.
Hopefully we get better Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon targets, Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon sucks, because you can’t chain Spirit Dragon to Raigeki and still keep Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon on the field, Black Rose Moonlight Dragon will died eventually. Also, it’s time to get 3000 attack Synchros, I am tired of these 2500 attack Synchros.
Should’ve been generic support for normal monsters instead. The ponzi scheme where you get a windfall for paying the costs of water monsters doesn’t need more support but Poseidra specifically could use some considering how many ways there are to vomit the rival Garunix.

As a big BEWD & Kaiba fan it seems I am eating pretty good this year! I hope they actally try to fix Blue-Eyes by making it more competitive here at least on a casual level instead of just adding more bricks. I am guessing they will give us a new extra deck card for the cover card… A new Synchro could be fun, but personally I would love to see a new ritual such as a upgrade for Chaos MAX!
