Flare Flux is great for the deck, draw power and recovery power all in one and a quick enabler for Fusion plays. You can even discard your Burst Oblivion just to use this as an extra draw.
Rocket Salvation on the other hand is also a good recovery card, but the deck is pretty full and Meteorite Dragon’s Chick has semi fallen out of favor in certain builds so this might allow it to see a resurgence. But even ignoring that, recovery of Red Eyes and the Fusion spell is fantastic because often times, you end up finding yourself able to do another Fusion that turn as the materials are so easy to come by in the deck without the means to do it.

Flare Flux is identical to the anime and overall a great recovery card, making up for Byugyuwazzo and Jumble Recovery only able to recover specific cards. Flux works with every monster, including the Fusions, and will eventually work with the Rituals and Maximums once released. Ideally the hand pitch is a high level monster to revive with Burst Oblivion or recover with Detonation Fusion. The extra draw offsets Oblivion’s requirement if you summon it that turn. Flare Flux is currently not recoverable if you accidentally mill it, which balances its potential power level.
Rocket Salvation’s artwork references Medic able to recover Meteor Dragon or Meteor Flare Fusion. Chick can recover Meteor Dragon or Drake, the latter who can add Meteor Dragon or Fusion from Deck to hand on NS.
Being able to recover REBD is immensely valuable especially now that Pluto Wyvern is treated as it in the GY, meaning you can also potentially recover Pluto Dragon or Calling Dark Meteor. Meteorite Dragon’s Chick is a bonus since you can recover Drake.
Red-Eyes is still very tight but having steady access to even more backrow removal via Wyvern and/or additional Fusion extension justifies Salvation’s place in the Deck.
