You can only use the 2nd effect of this card’s name once per turn.
(1) Target 1 face-up monster you control and declare 1 Type and 1 Attribute; that monster becomes the declared Type and Attribute, then you can Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters you control, including the targeted monster.
(2) You can banish this card from your GY; Tribute 1 Fusion Monster, and if you do, Special Summon 2 “Surprise Tokens” (Spellcaster/DARK/ATK 0/DEF 0) with the same Level.

Surprise Fusion could actually see experimentation. Changing type and attribute is pretty useful, especially for fusion
Surprise Fusion will be used for Link plays in certain decks like Fiendsmith
Guess it can change the type and attribute of monsters in a Shaddoll deck.

Well I was hoping more for the action field “Predaprimal Jungle” to become a official field spell as well as several of Yuri’s anime exclusive cards and some original fusion monsters to be released but the thorn fangs of violet poison can become dangerous especially If you can get a predator counter on everything your opponent controls, have Predaplant Dragostapelia on the field, and your opponent dosent have a way to negate violet poison than ya it’s a possible border whip on your opponent, granted I’m going to Hath to mess around with the fusion spells before I can say their good.
I do like Predaplant since it’s a Fusion Deck which I love and it’s the only plant deck I like. I do hope for more in the future soon
I was so confused by the tile as the manga only had 1 (!?) predator plants monster. I wish quick-play fusion spells like this and flash fusion would change the attack target to the fusion summoned monster if activated in response to an attack. Maybe someday we’ll get [Spell Card “Fusion”] as a promo featuring Revival Slime.

Ugh, I really really really hope this doesn’t mean Yuri is getting yet another wave of support in the upcoming core set while Yuto continues to get screwed over.
It’ll be fine. One day we’ll wake up to having more than 2 phantom knights eXceeds and the focus will be on traps treated as normal monsters instead of put entire deck into trash can for profit. I’m going to pretend those convoluted brofest cards never happened.
Not that I would mind a specific fusion of flytrap and nepenthes but, alas, we’re far more likely to get 20 more speedroid synchros before that.

I like the potential that you can use Surprise Fusion to easily summon Absolute Zero, then Tribute it to both nuke your opponent’s frontrow and summon 2 level 8 tokens.
This may have some potential, especially with Synchro or Link decks that want to dabble in Elemental HEROs.
Holy crap. I can use that QP Fusion with my Goofrock Earth Deck. Also… Surprise Fusion sounds like it should have been a quick play… Maybe just me.
This could mean Predaplants in BlDo, and I hope there’s also card import from the anime. Who knows, maybe that broken field. I don’t recall Yus using the card that mentions Starving OG.
Pedra cards catching the oponent by Surprise with Penetration
We already have surprise fusion at home, it’s called Super Poly
How come the Type & Attribute modulation on Surprise Fusion isn’t a hard once but the Level modulation effects Konami slap on cards unnecessarily are besides Surprise Fusion immediately uses the modulated monster as Fusion Material & most Level modulation effects be open-ended on what you use them for?!?!?
The brachidios spell also works great for synchros and links that require specific types or attributes. Instead of using two materials for brachidios you can use a card in hand to do it but still very niche since you need to search for it or takes up an essential hand starting hand slot.
My mistake i was thinking of reprodocus. Brachidios is that monster from monster hunter.
Yugioh does have a fusion monster called Bracchio-Radius.
It’s been like 5 years since they released Phantom Knights support btw but yeah let’s keep giving the other Dimension Dragons support. Guess we’re gonna make it to 6 years at this rate.
Last support they got was forced to play weird team up combos with RR even though Yuto and Shun never had an on screen duel together. And PK weren’t even able to get a new dedicated PK Xyz out of it.
Only good card is Thorn and Penetration is just plain garbage.
Surprise Fusion…. might see some plays, mayhaps.
Thorn will be good in Predaplants as it is a good field wipe, thanks to Starving Venom being easy to summon in the deck.
We predaplant players dont get ANY benefit from the quick play spell because predaprime is literally a more searchable version of it
