This is what we got, no new fusion’s, no new main deck cards, not even a field spell that can help us with consistency, Konami I had faith you would cook up some demonic looking new “Predaplant” cards, but “Apex Fusion”?
I can’t run with that in a pure “Predaplant” Deck and use it affectively, and theirs still so many different types of carrion flowering/Noches plants they could have used to as inspiration, like a “Typhonium” “Typhon”, a “Birthwort” “Yamata no Orochi”, a “Monkshood” “Basilisk”, or even a “titan arum” “Dragon”, but instead we got a new SS4 fusion card.

Bro what are you talking about. I ran a pure predaplant deck(excluding the supreme king clear wing in the Extra deck) and was able to get a pretty good board and a skill drain-like set up with the new fusion pendulum monster

Not being Quick-Play sucks, but retaining the un-chainable part is amazing. Even with no monsters on the field you can possibly eat an opponent’s monster to Fusion Summon your own, assuming their monster can be targeted anyway.

I guess the idea is you Instant fusion into Ambulomelides, Ambulo send itself get Ophrys Scorpio, Scorpio for Darlingtonia Cobra, Cobra for this, fuse with a different spell into and Predap- fusion, this target that fusion, and then use it to make the big fusion dragon, the Starving Venom treated as a Predap that’s hard to get rid of. 2 card off of Instant Fusion + any fusion spell, doesn’t use the normal, could extend with the new Tuner and synchro I suppose. Seems niche and win more, but cool nonetheless.
Yeah. you have to ultra the limits in the tcg for whatever reason. Is this an apology? Nah, SVFD and Transcendental Fusion still need to be errata’d.
I see it as a way to Fusion out Saint Azamina without the need to Synchro Summon first
