TellarDenebKonami announced today that TCG duelists who reach the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2027 will be able to participate in an additional digital category including Duel Links SPEED DUEL, Duel Links RUSH DUEL, or Master Duel. Players cannot participate in two electronic categories, however.
Previously, Duelists have been constrained to single-category participation only, marking Singapore as the first WCS where this change has been implemented.

"In previous tournaments, participation in multiple divisions was not permitted. However, for the "Yu-Gi-Oh! WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2027," players may participate in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME division as well as one digital game division (DUEL LINKS or MASTER DUEL). Participation in both digital game divisions is not permitted."
