It is noted that in Europe for their boxes, there was another packaging error where they only received 2 Secret Rares per box (1 Chibi and 1 Regular Secret Rare) while you’re supposed to get 2 Secret Rares from the Main Secret Rare pool and 2 from the Chibi Secret Rare pool, like in other regions.
Ultra Rares:
In this set there are also 19 Ultra Rares, but 6 are Alternate Artworks, 2 are shortprinted being Dominus Purge and Dominus Impulse and 1 is overprinted being Timaeus the United Magical Dragon, leaving 10 ‘regular’ ones.
Regular Ultra Rares:
Stare of the Snake Hair (Does not come in Collector’s Rare)

Short Printed Ultra Rares:
Dominus Purge (Does not come in Collector’s Rare)
Dominus Impulse (Does not come in Collector’s Rare)
From data of 75 cases from Europe, it also seems that both Dominus Purge and Dominus Impulse are half printed where 105 and 113 copies were pulled respectively, while every other Ultra Rare were pulled over 270 total copies. It is unknown about in North America, but it also seems to be the case.
So from a case you’d get 4 to 5 Alternate Artworks (out of a pool of 6 options), 5 Timaeus the United Magical Dragon Ultra Rare, 2 of each Dominus Purge and Dominus Impulse, and 36 of the other 10 Ultra Rares, or 3.6 of each one. The only thing you don’t walk away with an entire playset of is various Chibi Alternate Artwork, which you have 2 of each of and playsets of most, and those Ultra Rare Alternate Artworks, which you didn’t even pull 1 of each of let alone multiples.
Misprints and Quality Control Errors:
Maze of Muertos also has had plenty of quality control issues that have appeared from players around North America and here are some of them that came from posts from Discord, Facebook, Reddit, and X(Twitter).
Damage on the corners of the cards have been noticed by many players who opened the product, along with damage on the back of the card itself has appeared a handful of times.

Black Ink Smears on Super Rares that come from the left side of the card to the right.
Super Rares also have been noted to have mass foil bleed where the foil can be seen all on over the cards.

(Image comparing an older Collector’s Rare and a Collector’s Rare from MZMU)
Collector’s Rare were printed with no texture and completely flat compared to previous Collector’s Rare from Maze of the Master, Rarity Collection 4 and previous side set. Along with slight damage to the corners straight from the packs.

Useful article, it’s nice to know what’s short printed. Are you planning to do more for other sets?
It is definitely a plan to hope to have more of these articles in the future!
This article is great, if there are quality issues with a product it should be known.
Not because of being negative but because complaints are the way of hoping quality gets better in the future.
