A countdown has appeared at Konami’s website celebrating the 25th anniversary of the franchise. The countdown has a description explaining that it’s the time left for “new information on the 25th anniversary celebration project”.
The date in question would be August 6th, 1 PM JST. In other words, during the second day of the World Championship.

With rule changes and the English versions of OCG cards, maybe MR7 would be that OCG and TCG get merged and havoc will rain and corruption will cash grab?

Nope Rush duel is pure cancer and you will never change my mind. If Yugioh was Kazuki Takahashi’s baby then Rush duels are his deformed Grandchild.

If we get a new OCG/TCG anime, expect massive rules shifts forced by TV Tokyo to make the OCG/TCG like Rush Duels in terms of telegenic-ness where infinite summon chains and searches ain’t happening.
25th anniversary should have changed the franchise name from yugioh to Maxx”C” mini game
I don’t think it’ll be a new Master Rule, those only take place in April. I think it’ll be new products and maybe new show or movie.
