Virtual World Tiger &#8211; Huhu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Open the Gates to Kauwloon!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4>Replays:<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kRdoDY1WJHI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h4>Strategic Summary:<\/h4>\n<p>Today&#8217;s CDP focuses upon the Virtual World theme, one that I haven&#8217;t returned to cover since the early days of my channel. This unique archetype blends WIND Psychic monsters with EARTH Wyrm monsters to make Synchro and Xyz monsters that are Level\/Rank 3 or higher, through flurries of Special Summons. The keystone to the archetype is <strong>Virtual World Mai-Hime &#8211; Lulu<\/strong>, one of the Level 3 Tuners that can target a Virtual World card you control, mill a Virtual World card with a different card type, then it Special Summons itself from the hand and tutors a Virtual World card of the third type. Giving Lulu different card types to target is the name of the game, easily offered up by <strong>Virtual World City &#8211; Kauwloon<\/strong>, which places any Virtual World Gates on your field before applying additional effects. As far as your gates go, <strong>Virtual World Gate &#8211; Qinglong<\/strong> can negate a face-up monster&#8217;s effects, <strong>Virtual World Gate &#8211; Chuche<\/strong> can destroy a face-up card by shuffling 2 banished Virtual World cards back into the deck, and <strong>Virtual World Gate &#8211; Xuanwu<\/strong> can change the battle position of a monster. Each Gate also carries a GY effect, with Qinglong tutoring a Virtual World, Chuche adjusting the Level of a Virtual World monster by 3, or Xuanwu Special Summoning a Virtual World from the GY.<\/p>\n<p>While I won&#8217;t go into all of the combo potential of this archetype here, the long story short is to rely on the extra deck. Options like<strong> Ultimaya Tzolkin<\/strong> into <strong>Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon<\/strong> are easy with so many Level 6 Tuners and non-Tuners. You also have in-theme options, from the Level 9 <strong>Virtual World Kyubi &#8211; Shenshen<\/strong> to the Rank 6 <strong>Virtual World Phoenix &#8211; Fanfan<\/strong>. Now I won&#8217;t kid you &#8211; the loss of <strong>True King of All Calamities<\/strong> hurt this archetype immensely, but in its place they&#8217;ve now received <strong>Virtual World Tiger &#8211; Huhu<\/strong><em> (YGOrg Translation)<\/em> to negate Effect Monsters on the field as a Quick Effect. Finally, with the help of the Swordsoul archetype and <strong>Kashtira Fenrir<\/strong>, this strategy can finally call upon Level 8 and Level 10 Synchros as well, from <strong>Baronne de Fleur<\/strong> to <strong>Swordsoul Grandmaster &#8211; Chixiao<\/strong>, without deviating too far from the Virtual World gameplan.
