The second\u00a0Yu-Gi-Oh!\u00a0<\/em>x adidas collaboration sneakers will be available to purchase in Japan on the 26th of January, 2023. This time only a single pair of sneakers have been revealed, as opposed to the previous collection’s four items<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The sneakers will be \u00a519,800\/$154.42 USD on adidas.com in Japan and other retailers. There’s currently no word on whether there’s an Western release, nor whether this price would be the same in Western countries, though the last collaboration was released in the West.<\/p>\n

As with the previous collaboration, these sneakers were based on ones available in the early 2000s when the series was airing, in this case the “ADI2000”. They are stated to feature a color scheme and materials inspired by Yami Yugi.<\/p>\n

Something I failed to note previously was the presence of a different limb of Exodia the Forbidden One<\/strong> on the tags of each of the previous four items. This set of sneakers includes a tag with\u00a0Exodia the Forbidden One\u00a0<\/strong>itself (see the article image).<\/p>\n

I suspect many\u00a0Yu-Gi-Oh!\u00a0<\/em>fans will be most interested in\u00a0this<\/em>:<\/p>\n

ADC1-EN001 –\u00a0Dark Magician\u00a0<\/strong>(Prismatic Secret Rare)<\/p>\n

This limited edition Dark Magician\u00a0<\/strong>card will be included with the sneakers. It’s stated to feature the brands of both\u00a0Yu-Gi-Oh!\u00a0<\/em>and adidas, though this picture doesn’t do a spectacular job of showing them off.<\/p>\n
