The Sylvan monsters, introducing the key term &#8216;Excavate&#8217; into the game, are an archetype of Plant-type that typically have multiple effects, one of which that activates when it is excavated and then sent to the GY. For example, <strong>Sylvan Princessprout <\/strong>can tribute itself to excavate and send the top card of your deck to the GY to then place a &#8216;Sprout&#8217; monster back on top of your deck. Separately, whenever it is excavated and sent to the GY, it summons itself to your field as any level of your choosing between 1 and 8. Throw in more cards that mass-excavate, such as <strong>Chaos Ruler, the Chaotic Magical Dragon <\/strong>and <strong>Sylvan Guardioak<\/strong>, and you have the seeds for success! However, the Sylvan are not alone in this fight. A small Rikka engine helps to give greater access to the Sylvan boss Xyz monsters, Alsei and Orea. Finally, to help get the high-leveled Sylvan out of your hand and onto the field for more excavation, <strong>White Rose Cloister <\/strong><em>(YGOrg Translation)<\/em> and <strong>Rose Bell of Revelation <\/strong>add enough of the rose tint to leaf the consistency at a better place!
