“Sky Scourge Norleras” Deck Commentary<\/strong><\/p>\n

A “Sky Scourge Norleras” Deck that uses “Dark Occultism” from “Duelist Pack: Legend Duelist 5”.<\/p>\n

“Sky Scourge Norleras” can be added from your Deck to the hand via “Dark Occultism” and “Magical Contract Door”.<\/p>\n

And “Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal” is a LIGHT Fairy, while the “Burning Abyss” monsters are DARK Fiend monsters, which means with these, you’ll have the monsters you need to assemble in the GY to Special Summon “Sky Scourge Norleras”. Also, since the “Burning Abyss” monsters have their effects activate in the GY, you’ll have the advantage with cards whose effects activate in the GY when you send monsters you control from the field and hand to the GY.<\/p>\n

– Knight of Hanoi<\/p>\n

[Key Points]<\/span><\/p>\n

Using the “Burning Abyss” theme to ensure the Special Summon of “Sky Scourge Norleras” is quite ingenious, making this a fairly unique Deck.<\/p>\n

Using 2 Level 3 monsters, you can Xyz Summon “Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss”, and then you can send a “Burning Abyss” monster from your hand to the GY to Xyz Summon “Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal”.<\/p>\n

Then either by “Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal” being send to the GY herself OR using her first effect to send a LIGHT Fairy monster to the GY, you’ll have set up what you need to do to Special Summon “Sky Scourge Norleras”<\/p>\n

Outside of “Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal”, your Deck’s LIGHT Fairy monsters are “Marshmallon” and “Hanewata”.<\/p>\n

Since “Marshmallon” is a Level 3 that you can use as the cost of the 3rd effect of “Cherubini, Ebon Angel of the Burning Abyss” to send from the Deck to the GY, meanwhile, since “Hanewata” is a Tuner, you can use it to Special Summon the effect of “Crystron Glassfiber”.<\/p>\n

And now only that, since “Hanewata” is a Level 1, you can use it to Link Summon “Linkuriboh”, and then by using “Crystron Glassfiber” and “Linkuriboh”, you can Link Summon “Double Byte Dragon”.<\/p>\n

“Double Byte Dragon” is unable to be affected by the effects of cards other than Link Monsters, meaning it won’t be sent to the GY by the effect of “Sky Scourge Norleras”.<\/p>\n

[Advice]<\/span><\/p>\n

“Marshmallon” is a Level 3 LIGHT Fairy Monster, and so is “Vylon Stella”.<\/p>\n

Since “Vylon Stella” is a Tuner, you can use it as Link Material for “Crystron Glassfiber”, as well as Special Summon it with the effect of “Crystron Glassfiber”.<\/p>\n

Also, this card, if sent from the Monster Zone to the GY as a Link Material, can be equipped to a monster on the field by paying 500 LP, and whatever monster equipped with it destroys any monster it battles at the end of the Damage Step.<\/p>\n

“Marshmallon” meanwhile has a battle destruction immunity effect, so they’re both good for different things, so decide which is best depending on circumstances.<\/p>\n

A Deck that combines “Bamboo Swords” with “Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challua”, along with cards from “Collection Pack: Duelist of Revolution”.<\/p>\n

If “Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challua”, your opponent cannot enter their Battle Phase, and with the effect of “Burning Bamboo Sword”, your opponent will be forced to skip their Main Phase 1, resulting in a powerful combo that restricts your opponent’s actions.<\/p>\n

Also, with “F.A. Dawn Dragster” and “Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess”, your cards will be protected from your opponent’s effects, while the effects of “Number 60: Dugares the Timeless” and “Grappler Angler” Special Summon monsters from the GY, ensuring “Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challua” remains consistently on the field.<\/p>\n

– Knight of Hanoi<\/p>\n

[Key Points]<\/span><\/p>\n

A Deck that excels at rapidly Link Summoning, while also containing the most diabolic combo in the form of preventing your opponent from doing virtually anything with “Burning Bamboo Sword” and “Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challua”.<\/p>\n

You can add “Burning Bamboo Sword” to your hand by sending “Cursed Bamboo Sword” from your Deck to the GY with the 2nd effect of “Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights”, while “Vylon Sphere” can equal from the GY, while its 3rd effect can send it to the GY to equip “Cursed Bamboo Sword” from the GY.<\/p>\n

“Power Tool Dragon” can also potentially add “Cursed Bamboo Sword” to your hand.<\/p>\n

“Vylon Sphere” can be Special Summoned from the GY, while the 3rd effect of “Cursed Bamboo Sword” can be activated multiple times per turn.<\/p>\n

“Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challua” can be sent to the GY with the effects of “Armageddon Knight” and “Dark Greppher” to be Special Summoned later from, or you can Special Summon it from the hand with “Saryuja Skull Dread”.<\/p>\n

[Advice]<\/span><\/p>\n

This Deck has many cards needed to pull off its combo, so you should focus on bringing out your monsters while pulling off this combo is a “Best case scenario”..<\/p>\n

With various schemes at play, it might be worth using “Foolish Burial”, “One for One”, “Monster Reborn” et al, perhaps. “Foolish Burial” can send monsters whose effects activate in the GY, while also sending “Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challua” to set things up. “One for One” Special Summons a Level 1 Tuner that you can use to Synchro Summon “Ib, Justiciar of the World Chalice”. Finally, “Monster Reborn” can be used in many ways, but chiefly it can be used for the all-important “Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challua”.<\/p>\n

To help with Synchro Summoning “Ib, Justiciar of the World Chalice”, it might be worth including 1 copy of “Beckoned by the World CHalice”, and then you can Link Summon “Crystron Glassfiber” using “Ib, Justiciar of the World Chalice” as Link Materials, you can use their respective materials to Special Summon Warrior monsters to Link Summon “Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights”.<\/p>\n
