I can’t believe the Dragon Maid anime is now a Deck Theme<\/p>\n

Okay, let’s start off that any theme names here are unfinalized because of lack of context of other theme members, and we’re going with temporary names for coffee table and water cooler discussion, essentially, so people can talk about them, bar the second theme because their theme name is so blatantly straight forward for once that it’s absurd.<\/p>\n

Theme One is \u65ac\u6a5f\uff08\u30b6\u30f3\u30ad\uff09which reads as Zanki, but is the Kanji of “Slay” and “Machine”. Because it’s in Katakana, we’re tentatively going with “Zan-Ki”. The theme’s two monsters are likely \u708e\u65ac\u6a5f Enzanki, which reads as “Blazing Slay Machine”, but sounds like the word that people in Japan use for a Computer Chip\/Core Processor (\u6f14\u7b97\u6a5f).<\/p>\n

So let’s say Flame Zan-Ki for the moment.<\/p>\n

It’s been suggested that should the \u708e portion hold for the entire theme, that maybe to call them Pyrocessors. We’ll see with further context.<\/p>\n

Theme 2 is \u30c9\u30e9\u30b4\u30f3\u30e1\u30a4\u30c9 which is literally Dragon Maid. It’s exactly what it sounds like.<\/p>\n

\u30c9\u30e9\u30b4\u30f3\u30e1\u30a4\u30c9\u30fb\u30cf\u30b9\u30ad\u30fc Dragon Maid Husky<\/p>\n

\u30c9\u30e9\u30b4\u30f3\u30e1\u30a4\u30c9\u306e\u304a\u5fc3\u3065\u304f\u3057 Dragon Maid no Okokorodzukushi (Kindness of the Dragon Maids)<\/p>\n

Theme three is \u738b\uff08\u30b8\u30a7\u30cd\u30ec\u30a4\u30c9\uff09which is the Kanji for “King” or “Ruler” read as “Genereid”. Whatever this means is beyond us at the moment, we’ll get back to you. If it’s a Water theme, it might be Gem + Nereid…? Or Generate + Nereid…?
