It’s been confirmed one of the jury members will be the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! himself.<\/p>\n

The third MAGIC International Manga Contest being held during the 2019 Monaco Anime Game International Conference will have Kazuki Takahashi, author of Yu-Gi-Oh! as one of jury panelists.<\/p>\n

He will also be there for autograph signings and a conference.<\/p>\n

The winner of the contest will have their work published online in Shonen Jump. They will also have the chance to spend a month in Japan where they’ll be able to meet with Mangaka, a Shueisha publisher (i.e. a Tanto) and get a chance to extend their partnership with the publisher for an additional year.<\/p>\n

June 12th to October 15th will be the Registration period and drawing boards submission period.<\/p>\n

November 13th will be the announcement of the 10 main chosen stories<\/p>\n

January 17th, 2019 will announce the 5 finalists<\/p>\n

March 9th, 2019 will be story presentation, jury deliberation and winner announcement.<\/p>\n
