“Twelve Beast” Special Feature: A New Way of X Summoning! And Xyz Materials Play An Important Role, Bringing New Power!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The new series “Twelve Beasts” appears, an EARTH Beast-Warrior-Type series whose charm is a new way of Xyz Summoning! “Twelve Beast” Xyz Monsters not only Xyz Summon each other by placing themselves on top of other “Twelve Beast” Xyz Monsters, but they also have the surprising characteristic of Xyz Summoning themselves even on top of “Twelve Beast” monsters that aren’t Xyz Monsters!!<\/p>\n

And when they have “Twelve Beast” as Xyz Materoal… … Well they Power Up the ATK and DEF of “Twelve Beast” Xyz Monsters, and also bring new abilities to those Xyz Monsters. (And when they have multiple Xyz Materials… …)<\/p>\n

So let’s check out the characteristics of the “Twelve Beast” included in “Raging Tempest<\/a>” (on sale October 8th, 2016)!<\/p>\n

Twelve Beasts: Continuous Xyz Summons! & Strengthen them with Xyz Material’d Allies<\/em><\/p>\n

Key Points of the “Twelve Beast” Series!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You can Xyz Summon on top of “Twelve Beast” monsters that aren’t Xyz Monsters!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The “Twelve Beast” Xyz Monsters are all Rank 4 Monsters. Not only do you Xyz Summon them using 2 or more Level 4 monsters together, but you can also Xyz Summon by placing them on top of a “Twelve Beast” monster that doesn’t have the same name as it! Yes, that’s right, they have shocking feature of being able to Xyz Summon by placing themselves on top of a “Twelve Beast” monster that isn’t an Xyz Monster! Therefore, you just need to bring out 1 “Twelve Beast” monster to bring out one Xyz Monster after another and pull off a powerful combo using each of their effects!<\/p>\n

Xyz Material’d “Twelve Beasts” Have An Important Role Of Providing Monster Effects Along With ATK & DEF!<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Twelve Beast” Xyz Monsters all have the following for their first effect: “This card gains ATK and DEF equal to the total ATK and total DEF of the “Juunishishi” monsters attached to it as Xyz Materials.” And with the 2nd Monster Effect of non-Xyz “Twelve Beast” Monsters and their ATK and DEF, as they become Xyz Materials, you can effectively utilize the Xyz Materials attached to your “Twelve Beast” Xyz Monsters!<\/p>\n

With multiple Xyz Materials attached, not only does that Xyz Monster get multiple new effects, but it gains ATK and DEF equal to the respective values of the materials of each Monster attached!<\/p>\n

\nAll “Twelve Beast” monsters you control gain 300 ATK and DEF. Monsters your opponent controls cannot target Beast-Warrior-Type monsters you control for attacks, except the Beast-Warrior-Type monster you control with the highest ATK (either, if tied). Once per turn, if a “Twelve Beast” monster(s) you control would be destroyed by a card effect, you can destroy 1 other monster in your hand or field instead.
\n[\u21d2 Its 3rd effect not only protects your “Twelve Beast” monsters from destruction, but its powerful effect allows you to activate the effects of “Rabbina of the Twelve Beasts” and “Ram of the Twelve Beasts” that activate when they’re destroyed by destroying them instead, allowing you to combo with powerful effects! ]<\/p>\n

\nYou can target 1 face-up card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 “Twelve Beast” monster from your Deck. You can only use this effect of “Elemental Triangle of the Twelve Beasts” once per turn. If this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 “Twelve Beast” Xyz Monster you control; attach this card from your Graveyard to that target as Xyz Material.
\n[\u21d2 Its First Effect allows you to Special Summon whatever “Twelve Beast” you want from your Deck to Xyz Summon! As for the destroyed card, “Rabbina of the Twelve Beasts” or “Ram of the Twelve Beasts”, you’ll be able to use those cards for a combo! ]<\/p>\n

During either player’s turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 5 “Juunishishi” cards with different names in your Graveyard; shuffle all 5 into the Deck, then draw 1 card.
\n[\u21d2 The first effect can reinforce a “Twelve Beast” Xyz Monster based on the circumstances! Also, the 2nd effect is important to this series for letting you perform one Xyz Summon after another, allowing you to return “Twelve Beast” Xyz Monsters back to the Extra Deck to reuse them! ]<\/p>\n
