As advancements are made within the meta and new card reveals appear for Decks, it affects the market massively. From a new Thunder Deck and a new card that searches for any Thunder monster, along with a new FTK appearing via <\/span>Toon<\/b> Support. This week has shown the craziness of what can happen when new cards and techs appear.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visions for the Future<\/b><\/h1>\n

Recently, <\/span>Radiant Typhoon Vision<\/b><\/a> was bought out, as the new <\/span>Sky Striker <\/b>Support has been doing extremely well at Regional events for the opening week of the<\/span> Legendary Modern Decks 2026<\/span><\/i>. This card has many players asking for a rarity upgrade, as it was printed as a Common from <\/span>Doom of Dimensions<\/span><\/i>, especially with how powerful the card is itself. If it is destroyed by a <\/span>Mystical Space Typhoon<\/b>, you can reset <\/span>Vision<\/b> to the field. The best part about this card is that you can draw 2 cards and discard 1<\/span> Radiant Typhoon<\/b> card or a Quick-Play Spell from your hand, but if you don\u2019t, you discard your entire hand, similar to how <\/span>Allure of Darkness<\/b> works. This card can also let you add a copy of <\/span>Mystical Space Typhoon <\/b>from your Deck or GY to your hand so you can set up extra interruptions with <\/span>Radiant Typhoon Mandate<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another powerful card that has been seeing plenty of sales over the weeks has been <\/span>Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon<\/b><\/a>.<\/a> This card has been mentioned in passing through these articles, but now it’s finally time to talk about it directly. This card has been paired with <\/span>Albion the Branded Dragon<\/b> and <\/span>The Fallen & The Virtuous<\/b> as one of the many Extra Deck options you have that mentions <\/span>Fallen of Albaz<\/b>. This card has plenty of potential in any Deck that runs it, from Special Summoning <\/span>Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous,<\/b> from your Deck or GY to access Fusion Summons in <\/span>Branded<\/b> and <\/span>Dracotail <\/b>decks; <\/span>Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous,<\/b> for more access to <\/span>Fallen of Albaz<\/b>; <\/span>Swordsoul of Mo Ye<\/b> in <\/span>Swordsoul <\/b>strategies; or even <\/span>Centur-Ion Primera<\/b> for <\/span>Centur-Ion<\/b> builds. This card can also target a Level 8 Fusion from your GY or banishment and 1 card on the field to shuffle both back into the Deck, which is great for removing cards from the field going first or setting up board-breaking potential going second.<\/span><\/p>\n

With <\/span>Maze of Muertos<\/span><\/i> selling extremely well due to the <\/span>Pumpking<\/b> retrains, a few amazing imports, and all the alternate artworks being the main chase cards of the set, it left one card in the dust that hasn\u2019t seen a reprint in quite some time, that being <\/span>Gozuki<\/b><\/a>.<\/a> It\u2019s an important card for the <\/span>Call of the Haunted <\/b>theme, as this card can send 1 Zombie monster from your Deck to your GY. If this card is sent to the GY, you can banish 1 other Zombie monster from your GY, to Special Summon another Zombie monster from your hand. Both parts of this card are extremely useful for setting up a monster in your GY to bring back with <\/span>Call of the Haunted<\/b>, but it also lets you Special Summon a Zombie from your hand if you need an additional Level 6 monster on the field to access your Rank 6 monsters.<\/span><\/p>\n

These cards have been grabbing the players\u2019 attention between Genesys and the Advanced format, and hopefully, they reprint these cards to cross-promote with other sets in the future and the ones they\u2019ve already released for the players.<\/span><\/p>\n

Surges from the Past<\/b><\/h1>\n

With the announcement of both <\/span>Lightning Crash<\/b> from <\/span>Limit Over Collection – The Rivals – <\/span><\/i>and <\/span>Blitzclique<\/b> (YGOrganization Translation)<\/span><\/i> from <\/span>Chaos Origins<\/span><\/i>, many Thunder monsters have been bought up for inclusion in certain decks or just new found consistency to compete with other Decks currently. One of these cards happens to be<\/span> Thunderclap Monk<\/a>,<\/b> who was originally released in <\/span>Savage Strike<\/span><\/i> and hasn\u2019t seen a reprint since. When your opponent activates a monster effect while you control this Special Summoned monster, you can Tribute this card to negate the activation and destroy that card, and then if this card was sent from the field to the GY, you can Special Summon 1 Thunder monster from your hand, which follows into your <\/span>Blitzclique<\/b> (YGOrganization Translation)<\/span><\/i> monsters extremely well, like <\/span>Wisca Blitzclique <\/b>(YGOrganization Translation)<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spright <\/b>was another consideration with <\/span>Lightning Crash,<\/b> as the theme is fully Thunder, and with <\/span>Grain Blitzclique<\/b> (YGOrganization Translation)<\/span><\/i> being a Level 2 monster, <\/span>Spright Blue<\/b><\/a> can be Special Summoned from the hand, and this opens a great window for splashability to let you add <\/span>Spright Red<\/b> and <\/span>Carrot<\/b> into the Deck for a monster Negation, or a Spell\/Trap Negation. This can lean into <\/span>Spright<\/b> more, as <\/span>Gigantic Spright <\/b>can let you access <\/span>Grain Blitzclique<\/b> (YGOrganization Translation)<\/span><\/i> from your Deck to set up plays during your opponent\u2019s turn, as it can be paired with <\/span>Blitzcique – Return Stroke<\/b> (YGOrganization Translation)<\/span><\/i> to return it back to your hand.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pulling in the work, <\/span>Toon Dark Magician<\/b><\/a> has lots going for it currently, with the new <\/span>Toon<\/b> support being able to Special Summon it straight from the Deck with <\/span>Funny Dark Rabbit<\/b>. It can let you discard 1 card to either Special Summon 1 <\/span>Toon<\/b> monster from your Deck or add 1 <\/span>Toon<\/b> Spell\/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. This card has it all, and it even can be converted into <\/span>Dark Magician of Destruction, <\/b>as <\/span>Toon Dark Magician<\/b> is a Level 6 or higher DARK Spellcaster, and as such, you can search for <\/span>The Gaze of Tiamaeus<\/b> in order to Fusion Summon <\/span>Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon,<\/b> or you can instead search for <\/span>Dark Eradicator Warlock<\/b> to set up an FTK with<\/span> Toons<\/b>, since <\/span>Dark Magician of Destruction<\/b> treats itself as the original <\/span>Dark Magician<\/b> while on the field, which <\/span>Warlock<\/b> requires. The quantity of this card on the market is extremely minimal, but hopefully going into the future with the TCG, there will be a new reprint coming soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was only a matter of time, but <\/span>Toons<\/b> have officially made a First-Turn Kill with <\/span>Dark Eradicator Warlock<\/b><\/a> with their new support. Today, we will break down this FTK step by step like we did months ago with the tech with <\/span>Majespecter Draco – Ryu<\/b> in <\/span>Mitsurugi <\/b>for a full handloop. The reason why this card can now FTK is the amount of recycling you can do with <\/span>Toon Table of Contents<\/b> via <\/span>Evil Box<\/b> (YGOrganization Translation)<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Blue-Eyes Toon Ultimate Dragon<\/b> (YGOrganization Translation),<\/span><\/i> as each time a Normal Spell Card is activated, it inflicts 1000 damage to the opponent.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Going into Series 14, this game will have massive overhauls, as the <\/span>Limit Over Collections<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Revolution Booster: Toons\/Witchcrafter\/Unchained<\/span><\/i>, and <\/span>Chaos Origins<\/span><\/i> have shown, so hopefully something crazier appears in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n
