BLZD Support [CDP]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What it is to experience the Pendulum Crescendo!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4>Replays:<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xJt1ey6to_w?si=jZMW9FUCTz0mdDT0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h4>Strategic Summary:<\/h4>\n<p>Today&#8217;s CDP features the return of both the Orcust and Pendulum Power Patron themes to my channel, as today I am leveraging the potential of two extremely high-gas themes. First up, the Orcust consist of DARK Machine monsters that aim to Link Summon, absuing the effects of <strong>Orcust Harp Horror<\/strong> and <strong>Orcust Cymbal Skeleton<\/strong> on both turns, thanks to their Field Spell <strong>Orcustrated Babel<\/strong>. This deck continues to have all of its historical power and endless resource loops, and to an extent even more so, due to the arrival of <strong>Enlilgirsu, the Orcust Mekk-Knight<\/strong>, their empowered LINK-4 that recovers any banished Orcust card while stealing an opponent&#8217;s monster.<\/p>\n<p>On the other side of the variant, we have the Power Patron archetype, which consists of Level 10 Pendulum monsters that can faux-summon their Extra Deck counterparts. They also happen to make a very efficient extension engine, as since they are all Level 10 DARK monsters, your deck can easily add additional boss monsters onto your Orcust endboard like <strong>Varudras, the Final Bringer of the End Times<\/strong>. They also help the Orcust deck unbrick the hand if you draw too many monsters &#8211; simply Pendulum Summon them onto the field and your options can open up. The Power Patrons also open up a few other tech options, such as dropping <strong>Junora the Power Patron of Tuning<\/strong> onto your board to negate all face-up cards the opponent controls or setting <strong>Artmage Impasto -Recapture-<\/strong><em> (YGOrg Translation)<\/em> from the deck when summoning <strong>Artmage Non-Finito<\/strong> by tributing <strong>Power Patron Shadow Beast Nervedo<\/strong><em> (YGOrg Translation)<\/em>. None of these options distract from the core Orcust strategy, but all inch you closer to victory.<\/p>\n<p>As the last callout for today&#8217;s variant, I&#8217;m also running an extremely heavy Trap engine including 9 Dominus cards and a playset of <strong>Infinite Impermanence<\/strong>. Sure, <strong>Mystical Space Typhoon<\/strong> has never been run in more numbers before, but this large Trap lineup can throw a lot of unexpected negation at your opponent, in addition to the expected <strong>Orcust Crescendo<\/strong> you should always have waiting in the wings.
