“Shiranui” Special Feature: Synchro from the Graveyard!? Atack with Synchro Monsters by manipulating your Zombie-Type monsters that are banished or are in the Graveyard!<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Shiranui”, who first appear in “Breakers of Shadows<\/a>” (which is currently on sale, and was released October 17th, 2015), are a new series of Zombie-Type monsters that fight using Synchro monsters, as well as manipulating your Zombie-Type monsters that are banished or in the Graveyard!<\/p>\n

Their effects that trigger upon being banished or that return their allies to the Graveyard are powerful! And powerful monsters appear with strong effects, such as the ability to Synchro Summon from the Graveyard!!<\/p>\n

Introducing the “Shiranui” Monsters!<\/strong><\/p>\n

On top of “Cursed Katana Shranui” being able to be used as a Tuner for a Synchro Summon, it has an effect that sorta-kinda Synchro Summons from the Graveyard, allowing you to Special Summon a Zombie-Type Synchro Monster from the Extra Deck! Also, the three other “Shiranui” monsters have effects that activated if they’re banished as well as one other additional effect, allowing you to pull off various combos!<\/p>\n

\"\"Cursed Katana Shiranui<\/strong>
\n[Tuner ATK800\/DEF 0]
\nYou can only use the effect of “Cursed Katana Shiranui” once per turn. \u2460\uff1a If this card is in your Graveyard, except the turn it was sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 non-Tuner Zombie-Type monster in your Graveyard; banish both it and this card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck whose Level equals the total Levels of the banished monsters.<\/p>\n

[\u21d2 By using its \u2460 effect, you can Special Summon cards like “Revived King Ha Des” that specify “Plaguespreader Zombie” as a Synchro Material! Also, the \u2461 effect of “Ikusagami – Shiranui” (discussed later on) can return this banished card back to the Graveyard, allowing you to reuse its effect once more! ]<\/p>\n

\n[ATK 1000\/DEF 0]
\nYou can only use the \u2460 effect of “Swordsmith of Shiranui” once per turn. \u2460\uff1a If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard as a Synchro Material: You can add 1 “Shiranui” card from your Deck to your hand, except “Swordsmith of Shiranui”. \u2461\uff1a If this card is banished: You can activate this effect; for the rest of this turn, Zombie-Type monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle.<\/p>\n

[\u21d2 This card doesn’t just add “Shiranui”\u00a0monsters from the Deck to the hand, it’s also OK to add “Shiranui” Spells or Traps! By adding “Shiranui Style: Swallow Sword” to your hand, you can use its powerful effect to help create combos while controlling your opponent’s field! ]<\/p>\n

\"\"Chief Priest of Shiranui<\/strong>
\n[ATK 1500\/DEF 0]
\nYou can only use the \u2461 effect of “Chief Priest of Shiranui” once per turn. \u2460\uff1a When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 “Shiranui” monster from your hand or Graveyard, except “Chief Priest of Shiranui”, but banish it when it leaves the field. \u2461\uff1a If this card is banished: You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; destroy it.<\/p>\n

[\u21d2 Not only can you use its \u2460 effect for a Synchro Summon, but you can also use it to set up for an Xyz Summon! It’s also quite potent to use in a combo with “Shiranu Style: Swallow Sword” (discussed later on) which can banish this card from the Deck, thus allowing you to aggressively activate its \u2461 effect! ]<\/p>\n

\"\"Bushi of Shiranui<\/strong>
\n[ATK 1800\/DEF 0]
\nYou can only use each effect of “Bushi of Shiranui” once per turn. \u2460\uff1a During either player’s turn: You can banish 1 Zombie-Type monster in your Graveyard: this card gains 600 ATK until the end of this turn, and if it does, if this card battles with a monster this turn, banish that monster after damage calculation. \u2461\uff1a If this card is banished: You can target 1 “Shiranui” monster in your Graveyard, except “Bushi of Shiranui”; add it to your hand.
\n[\u21d2 Its \u2460 effect can be activated during the opponent’s turn, making it an effect that restricts your opponent’s monster’s combat options! ]<\/p>\n

Introducing the “Shiranui” Synchro Monsters!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Level 6 “Katanagami – Shiranui” has two separate effects to dominate the monsters your opponent controls!<\/strong> Its \u2460 effect can be used during your opponent’s turn, allowing you to return important cards back to the Deck, which in turn lets you set up for your next big move!<\/p>\n

\n[ATK 2500\/DEF 0]
\n1 Zombie-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Zombie-Type monsters
\nYou can only Special Summon “Katanagami – Shiranui(s)” once per turn.
\n\u2460\uff1a Once per turn, during either player’s turn: You can target 1 of your banished Zombie-Type monsters; shuffle it into the Deck, and if you do, change all monsters your opponent controls with ATK lower than or equal to that monster’s to Defense Position. \u2461\uff1a If this card is banished: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; it loses 500 ATK.<\/p>\n

The Level 8 “Ikusagami – Shiranui”, if you banish “Katanagami – Shiranui” from the Graveyard with its \u2460 effect, can make its own ATK 5500!<\/strong> Its \u2461 effect is also powerful, allowing you to prepare your combos with your “Shiranui” cards and your Zombie-Type monsters, allowing you to get ready to strike back!<\/p>\n

Introducing “Shiranui” Spell & Trap Cards!<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Shiranui Style: Reincarnation Formation” has an effect that lets you set up your combos with your “Shiranui” and Zombie-Types! It’s quite handy for preparing your counterattack, allowing to instantly wipe out your opponent’s monsters!<\/p>\n

\n\u2460\uff1a Once per turn, if you control no monsters: You can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard, then activate 1 of these effects.

“Shiranui Style: Swallow Sword” has a powerful effect! Since the “Shiranui” card is banished from the Deck when this card resolves, you can arrange combos according to the circumstances! If the card you banish is “Chief Priest of Shiranui”, you can create a powerful combo that wipes out 3 on the field!<\/p>\n

Use 0 DEF cards like “Uni-Zombie<\/a>” and “Zombie Master<\/a>” that have fantastic chemistry which have powerful effects that can allow you to create combos with Zombie-Types, as well as bring them out! Also, the effect of “Cursed Katana Shiranui” can Special Summon “Archfiend Zombie-Skull<\/a>“, allowing for a nearly endless combos with relevant Zombie-Type related cards!<\/p>\n
