The primary archetype today is the Magical Musket theme, a group of LIGHT Fiends that trigger whenever a S\/T is activated in its column. This has always been a cool archetype, with <strong>Magical Musketeer Starfire<\/strong> and <strong>Magical Musketeer Caspar<\/strong> Special Summoning a new Musket or tutoring a new Musket card, but what makes this theme so powerful is its S\/Ts that can be activated from the hand. <strong>Magical Musket &#8211; Desperado<\/strong> can destroy a face-up card, while <strong>Magical Musket &#8211; Last Stand<\/strong> can negate a S\/T Card activation. Finally, <strong>Magical Musketeer &#8211; Max<\/strong> is the single most broken card in the theme, as it can either Special Summon Magical Musket monsters from your Deck, or tutor Magical Musket S\/Ts, equal to the number of cards your opponent controls in their backrow or their number of monsters. This can very well be a +5 in card advantage, which is very powerful for a LINK-1.<\/p>\n<p>Now, enough about the Musket, let&#8217;s talk about the Fiendsmith, which is a fellow LIGHT Fiend archetype. The Fiendsmith theme isn&#8217;t new to my channel, I&#8217;ve covered them with Magikey before here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0SznRQVeBpI\"><strong>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0SznRQVeBpI<\/strong><\/a> , but they are amazing at being a consistent engine that packs an outsized punch. In here, I&#8217;m even abusing their combo with <strong>Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal<\/strong>, which can turn a copy of <strong>The Fiendsmith<\/strong><em> (YGOrg Translation)<\/em> or <strong>Fiendsmith Tractus<\/strong><em> (YGOrg Translation)<\/em> into a Beatrice that sends <strong>Transaction Rollback<\/strong> and <strong>Ghost Meets Girl &#8211; A Masterful Mayakashi Shiranui Saga<\/strong> to your GY, allowing you to prevent all Special Summoning of monsters from the hand, Deck, or Extra Deck for the rest of the turn. If that isn&#8217;t your fancy, you can use those 2 Level 6 monsters to call upon <strong>D\/D\/D Wave High King Caesar<\/strong> to negate effects that Special Summon a monster. Or, if you want to be really spicy, turn to <strong>Fiendsmith Dies Irae<\/strong> <em> (YGOrg Translation) <\/em>to negate up to 3 face-up cards on the field, if you&#8217;ve equipped him with both <strong>Fiendsmith Sequentia<\/strong><em> (YGOrg Translation)<\/em> and <strong>Fiendsmith Requiem<\/strong><em> (YGOrg Translation)<\/em>!<\/p>\n<p>Wrapping up today&#8217;s build, let&#8217;s touch on the other two archetypes. The Unchained is up first, featuring both <strong>Unchained Soul of Sharvara<\/strong> and <strong>Unchained Soul of Shyama<\/strong>, their Level 6 monsters. These two aid in the above combos, but they also can give you <strong>Wailing of the Unchained Souls<\/strong>, a Continuous Spell that can trigger your Magical Musket monsters in a pinch. Each of these is also just a single <strong>Unchained Soul Lord of Yama<\/strong> away, a LINK-2 that only needs 2 Fiend monsters, which is fairly easy to achieve in an all-Fiend Deck. The last theme at play today is the D\/D, which use <strong>Dark Contract with the Gate<\/strong> to tutor <strong>D\/D\/D Vice King Requiem<\/strong>, then use that Gate to Summon Requiem from the Pendulum Zone, then Xyz Summon <strong>D\/D\/D Deviser King Deux Machinex<\/strong>.
